I have reached out to support over a week ago, but havnt heard from them (ticket 38375)

I am curious about my download data
As you can see from the image attached i have an abnormal amount of downloads compared to views or payments.

Have you come across something like that before?  what do you think could be the cause?

Sorry everyone, we had downtime with our analytics system where views were not counted on the 16th for many projects. It doesn’t look like we’ll be able to recover that data so there’s going to be a gap in your analytics there.

No worries. I'm glad I wasn't going crazy, haha.

There's a gigantic bump in views today on the analytics so I imagine it was a result of the missing analytics merging with today's results? Either way everything looks to be back on track now, thanks!

Now that I think about it, based on how our queue was backed up, it’s possible the missing views were attributed to the next day. I checked a few other projects and it appears that could have happened, but I can’t really give a concrete answer.

While my views/downloads have made sense for the most part throughout the months, today however things were a bit weird, since my views have absolutely plummeted to near 0 numbers out of nowhere, while the downloads still seem to be the same as ever day-to-day, which makes me wonder if there's been a small bug with the tracking somewhere along the line.

Either way it's a bit concerning, haha.

Something similar happened to me with 2 or 3 of my games.

It's happened before, yes. Best guess we have, network glitches have forced a lot of people (or the app) to retry downloads repeatedly. To the best of my knowledge, the exact cause was never tracked down.
