i dont know why but my game is not indexing

I can’t see my game page or creator page when I search for them.
My game has a cover image, screenshots, a gameplay video, a title, tags, and other details, but it still isn’t indexed.

Even if there’s a reason why my game isn’t showing up, I’d like to know it and fix it.

Here’s the link to my game: https://warn-games.itch.io/keep-chugging

Thanks for your help!

the game is published on 9 days ago when this post is uploaded

Please read this unofficial FAQ. It explains why it can take a while.

thx for reply is this means i am in queue does my game fulfill the conditions to indexed and i should wait or i should i change or add something

I don't know. Please wait.

It’s been 25 days, so I don’t think I should have to wait this long. If my game has any problems or lacks quality for some reason, please give me feedback because I want to update it.

I have no way of knowing, and like you saw, it can take that long.

Is my game quarantined? Could you help me? If it is, how can I fix it? And if it’s not, why can’t I find my game in the search bar?

...You can't "fix it". Your game page isn't broken. It has to be seen by itch.io staff. If it takes much longer, you can contact support and post your ticket number here like the rules say and like you see other people doing.

I tried contacting support I sent an email on September 28, and it’s been 18 days with no response. How much longer should I wait?

I don't know, it depends. I've let our admins know.

Here is part of the explanation. When I go to the game's page and click on the Download button, I get shown the following warning:

When I download the game on other accounts or in incognito mode, I don’t get this warning. I’m not sure if the issue is with my game, but I’d like to know why it gets quarantined and what I should do. I read the notice: my file is not password-protected, and I don’t promote it on Discord. Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t, because Discord is banned in my country. I don’t know if the warning is really about my game, but if it is, I’d like to understand the reason and how to fix it.

The warning only appears if you really try to download a game. Right up to the download dialogue.

The warning message is not for the developer, it is for people trying to download and it warns about some common things that might make the file suspicous. Like being password protected and you were given the pw in a discord.  It is a blanket warning, not specific to any reason for the particular quarantine.

Itch will not tell the reasons for a quarantine. There is a lot of malware on Itch. Telling reasons would give the criminals feedback how to avoid quarantine.

Thanks for the reply! It seems the issue was solved together with the index problem — I don’t get that message anymore. I also tried checking from another PC in incognito mode, and the warning didn’t show up. Thanks again for your help!

It seems my problem is solved — my game is now indexed.
I opened this post 55 days ago and sent an email about a month ago, but I didn’t receive any reply.
So I’m not sure if the email fixed it, but if you’re having the same issue, the waiting time can be around 2 months.

so thank you itch support
