Here is part of the explanation. When I go to the game's page and click on the Download button, I get shown the following warning:

When I download the game on other accounts or in incognito mode, I don’t get this warning. I’m not sure if the issue is with my game, but I’d like to know why it gets quarantined and what I should do. I read the notice: my file is not password-protected, and I don’t promote it on Discord. Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t, because Discord is banned in my country. I don’t know if the warning is really about my game, but if it is, I’d like to understand the reason and how to fix it.

The warning only appears if you really try to download a game. Right up to the download dialogue.

The warning message is not for the developer, it is for people trying to download and it warns about some common things that might make the file suspicous. Like being password protected and you were given the pw in a discord.  It is a blanket warning, not specific to any reason for the particular quarantine.

Itch will not tell the reasons for a quarantine. There is a lot of malware on Itch. Telling reasons would give the criminals feedback how to avoid quarantine.

Thanks for the reply! It seems the issue was solved together with the index problem — I don’t get that message anymore. I also tried checking from another PC in incognito mode, and the warning didn’t show up. Thanks again for your help!
