Has anybody on here written and published books on itch? I'm not talking visual novels. I'm talking words only.  A downloadable PDF or something for example. Even an audiobook perhaps???

I did for a while years ago, both fiction and nonfiction. The latter even sold a bunch of copies, while it was still an option. Why do you ask?

Oh just wondering.

Yes.

And if it’s something one thinks they’ll have an interest in… I’d even recommend it.

Go on.

Yeah.

There’s no guarantees it will pick up as much traffic as a popular game. But I think there’s still something special about releasing something, maybe even filling a niche like for example, writing books about tabletop games (like in more of a general sense), or writing fiction that blends science fiction and fantasy, or writing cosmic horror.

I agree my friend

I've one, but I was planning to remove it. I need a better translator for my work, as the English translation never worked out the way I wanted it to be. (The original Dutch version turned out better, and I found out the hard way, that I shouldn't do translations myself).

Two short stories in epub format.

I’ve seen other shorts around.

There are anthologies and full-length novels, too.

They can be difficult to find.

Are you specifically interested in audiobooks?

I was considering publishing my own on here

Shouldn’t hurt to try it.
