About refunding of a game because of its content or dev's behavior.

Could you request a refund if you didn't really know what you're getting into or dev's behavior?  Example: You bought a game and you have some ideas what the content might have, but didn't fully grasp till you actually bought the game and played it and didn't like the content the game have.  Or if you already knew what you might be getting into, but didn't know of the dev's bad quirks until you bought the game and read on some of the things that the dev had said; within the game folder or somewhere else.

Sorry for my poor grammar as I am not good with grammar despite English being my only language.

Update: I finally got my refund and it seems you can, altho having spent my time within the community I realized it wasn't as bad I made it out to be.  So I would rebuy the game but it will be on my low priority since I feel bit bad refunding.

I don't know. Maybe. Please request a refund and see if it gets approved.

Thanks for taking the time to  comment, I already made a ticket with the game key provided in the second reply before I made this post,  as this is my first time refunding on itch.io.  I hope it goes well and if it doesn't, then I've learned my lesson to be careful on what to buy on itch.io.

So yes, you can refund because of the content within the game or concerns with the Dev themselves.

They might approve the refund, but they do not have to. There is no buyer's remorse clauses or similar.

Summary You may be eligible for a refund if the product does not work or does not represent what was advertised.

Was able to get my refund and understandable they might not refund, but I think they may have some kind/sort of buyer's remorse but I don't know fully yet.  Since this is my only time refunding.
