I have been lurking itch.io for a number of months now. I only created an account because I was told to when I decided to buy a paid asset. So, while I am here, I might as well report an issue that has been on the website since at least January.

I am unable to search the website by any tag whatsoever. Even simple things such as "sprites" do not work. I type the word I am looking for in "find a tag" but nothing happens when I enter a tag or hit enter. It is as if I did not hit enter at all. 

There is a drop down that says "filter by dragon" if I type "dragon" but clicking on it, hitting enter, doing basically anything, does absolutely nothing. It does not search for the tag or term or anything. 

I tried multiple PCs, web browsers, and connections. Firefox, Chrome, Edge on three PCs a piece, same issue all across the board. Tag search is broken and does literally nothing.

Is anybody else having this issue?

I was able to identify the location of the issue from another poster. Thanks for the report, the issue should be fixed now.

Can you share link to the exact page you are having an issue on? Are you logged in or out? If you open your browser console you may be able to collect more information. Are you using any browser extensions?

I did a quick test on https://itch.io/games and encountered no issues, so I’ll need more information to diagnose the problem.

i can confirm that. ify out type a non featured tag in the box, nothing happens and you can no longer use that box. on games it works. on game assets it does not.

I can't say when (because I don't see pattern) but sometimes I notice this but it happens very rarely
