Hello, I have started to dabble in pixel art, and I just wanted some feed back on sprites I have made as test-runs and experiments. I one day want to work on a game project, and I would like to know what people think of the art I have been practicing with. I hope I am allowed to ask this question here, it is my first time using itch.io for feedback. 

If you can please give me some feedback on my images here, such as whether I can improve shapes, shading, (especially on the sprite,) please let me know what you think, and thank you for your time. 

Hello, I love both sprites but the portrait looks a bit too sharp. The skin and outfit look smooth but the hair and eyes are spiky and rough, which seems a little strange to me. But I'm probably splitting hairs.

This isn't bad, but I started playing Zelda: The Minish Cap recently and I really like their character sprites. Not sure if that's a style you'd go for.

The linework on the portrait looks sloppy, like downscaled high-res art instead of true pixel art.  You've got uneven curves, you've got broken lines, and you've got stray pixels.  The design is fine, but some clean-up would really help.

The sprite looks fine, although some more shading would help it pop more.

I really like the shape/way the characters feet come together on the pixel sprite! I really love his shoes/feet for some reason. They give him a dark badass cool/ yet kind of dainty/gentle and cute vibe which is definitively my kind of anime guy trope hehe~

I am not sure but it seems to me that he/she looks down. Maybe it was planned but I am not sure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
