NSFW Content Should Be Hidden and Not Accessible By Default

Hello,

I’m searching through assets and games labeled pixel art. I have seen, with no option to not see, several NSFW games and assets. I’m not searching for them and they should be hidden by default. Otherwise this whole site needs an age verification check. I’m not interested in hearing about how the adult community might have stifled visibility, if they are adults, they can take the extra few moments to unhide that content, in order to keep the front page, and the main bulk of the site from being overrun and cluttered with it.

Thanks

NSFW content is hidden by default. The only exception to this is if you publish a game that is NSFW. If you publish a page that is tagged with an NSFW tag then you will have NSFW content always show. This is done to prevent people from being confused about why the page they have created is not appearing.

The other potential exception to this is that the developer has not correctly tagged their page as NSFW. In this case though, I can confirm that the page you highlighted is tagged as NSFW. Please use the report link on the bottom of the page to report it to our team.

Why are you replying in someone else’s thread?

In any case, I think you know what’s going on due to the warning you previously received.

There is more exceptions. Maybe a bug.

If you are logged out or have setting to not show  adult content in browse and you go to browse and select certain tags, like Erotic, the setting is ignored.

But tag Erotic does say

Erotic

Usually containing sexual themes, content or more. Not safe for work most of the time.

So, how to browse for the sfw Erotic while not seeing marked as adult content?  I say this is a bug, but I mailed this    to support in April already.

Hey there,

Just to confirm, if you go to your Account Settings, there is a checkbox you can toggle with the following text:

[] Show content marked as adult in search & browse

I know this is not exactly the solution you are asking for, but maybe it might be a temporary solution?

Hope that helps :)

I believe they should be hidden by default, but iIn some cases, you may see some games because the developers haven't properly tagged their project as NSFW and it slips by, and it helps to report those so the admins can force the flag on it.

Thanks all. I guess some things aren’t tagged correctly AND my profile was set to allow NSFW (though to be honest I’m not sure how mine was set to that). I did confirm several more available on the front page from a private browsing window though (not logged into an account).

I’ll report any I see and I have unchecked the box to allow NSFW content.
