Hello, I have currently 2 payouts pending for my app. The first one is 20 days old. Is there something wrong on my end or yours?
Payouts are indeed working! I’m sorry about any delays you may have experienced, as far as I can see all payouts referenced in this topic have been processed. It looks like the payouts in question may have been delayed about an additional week.
We’re currently processing hundreds of payouts a week, and that number continues to grow. Occasionally there may be delays with certain payouts, that’s the nature of the how our operations are structured. I understand it’s frustrating to be receiving payouts on a specific cadence and then see a delay, we’re always want to make the process smoother and quicker, so I’m sorry about any distress that was caused.
That said, a topic with a title like this is not helpful for those who may see delays in the future. “Payouts not working anymore” is misleading and creates panic. There are a wide range of reasons why there might be a delay, sending money is inherently risky. So we ask that you have patience. Every payout will be paid. You’re welcome to reach out if you’re having an issue and we’ll investigate it to get any problems resolved. For that reason I’m archiving this topic.
We explicitly do not advertise a specific timeline for payouts because we sometimes need flexibility in our payout schedule. In this particular case, some payouts were delayed about an addition week due to an issue with an internal check in our system. Before a payout is eligible to be paid we run automated scans that clear the payout for processing. In this case some payouts got stuck in a limbo state for longer than normal. We’ve resolved the issue and that type of issue should no longer contribute to an additional delay in payment.
Thanks for understanding
I've sent an e-mail to support about another payout-related issue 35 days ago and a follow-up a week ago and haven't received any response other than the automatic "Request received" confirmation. At this point any response, whether it's a "we don't know when this will be fixed" or "sorry, we have a lot of support tickets queued up and we'll probably get to yours within the next two weeks " would be significantly better than nothing.
I'll gladly cut them some slack given their small team size and the current state of the world but this complete lack of communication for so long is quite frustrating.
