I've only seen like one other guy with this problem, and only on this site do I have this problem. Every goddamn time I download something, EVERY GODDAMN TIME, INCLUDING TRYING TO DOWNLOAD THE APP, it just says 'hu ha' and goes 'Failed - Forbidden'. Please help me, because all I want to do is download a game. Please. Also, here's a screenshot.

I don’t know enough about your situation and setup right now to be of any real help, but if you can download something else from itch.io and it works, your problem is with that particular game/developer - not with itch.io itself. If that turns out to be the case, you should contact them through their game’s comment section.

‘Failed - Forbidden’ sounds like a strange error. Are you trying to access it from a public network (like a school wifi) ? Maybe there’s a firewall in place to stop downloads from Itch.io

If that’s not it, I can’t think of anything else unfortunately.

If you can't download anything at all from Itch, not even the app, that sounds like a problem with your antivirus. Nowadays many of them seem to be very aggressive. It's unlikely to be a firewall issue since you can browse Itch fine otherwise.
