I encountered a bug where the dealer kept using magnifying glasses in the final round and took five turns in a row while I was handcuffed

I still won with full health but I think the handcuffs don't come off when the dealer takes a shot at you after using the magnifying glass

There's a great game similar to this one called Dome Keeper. You might also like the flash games Motherload and Diggy!

If you want more of a game like this you can play Dome Keeper.

(Not to say don't play this dev's game as well mining games are awesome)

Hey! You attack towards your mouse. If you're using the keyboard controls, you'll attack in the direction you were moving.

I couldn't read the will fast enough, and I had to talk to people twice to finish their quests, or maybe open the will menu multiple times? I also got outside and traversed the entirety of the map's perimeter looking for a letter to deliver. A sprint key would have been really nice, this is a massive town.

The game is awesome, I like it a lot, the music is good, the game and story are fun, and this is a neat style of game.

You need to go into the editor, hit file, and then upload from computer

I really like the concept, my computer does funky things to the color of fullscreen games so I don't really know how nice it looks. The bee sprayers are a little too tricky for me to wrap my head around, but the game is well designed. The music gets annoying.

There is a victory screen at the end. If you follow the red arrow, the purple bar at the top of the screen fills. When it reaches the end, you win!

There is a score counter! If you follow the red arrow you will see a purple bar that marks your progress towards the end. :)

This is neat. I understood it near the end of my third game, it's fun, and it looks and sounds amazing.

Maybe it's because I'm really tired but the game got on my nerves after a while. I'm not going to rate because I have bad bias. The ending was cute and fun.

Thank you! The blinking text at the end reads '(unimaginable)'. Running away and dodging is a less effective strategy but I have seen a few testers do it successfully. Good job!

Okay, it charges up to shoot. That wasn't readable in animation, so I missed it. Very fun, a faster shoot with greater enemy health and better feedback like screenshake/enemies flashing/fish wobbling would improve the combat feel by a lot. I get time constraints though 100% haha

The music is a little too quiet, I didn't realize there was a soundtrack until my second playthrough. I also didn't even notice there was a tunnel the first time, and discovered it by accident the second. The powerups are cool and fun, and so is the game. I like it, 5/4/5/5.


PIXEL ART NERD ADVICE

Darker or higher contrast art is better suited to areas that the player cannot go because of how we see images and environments, and low contrast or brighter art is better suited for places that can be traversed to. You should shift two of three from brightness, contrast and saturation to show the difference. Our brains process closed shapes as important, and so lots of little closed shapes can also help to show that something is there vs. not there.

Fun, cute, polished, nice sounding! I beat it first try on hard, but I don't think you can make it much harder without making it less fun than before.

I really really love the game concept! It's a little annoying that you can't repeat letters but it does make the game better. I also like the soundtrack a lot and it looks great.

Keep at it with pixel art! I love the Turtwig, and you've got some good shading going on. The gameplay is fun, and you kept the resolution. 5/5/1/5.

I like the sonar mechanic and depth charges. I don't think this concept works especially well with low resolution because the constraints in place already take significant information from the player, and the gameplay compounds on that instead of working against it. I enjoyed the game a lot anyway, sea games are fun.

I love fishing games, everything that's here is super polished.

It would be awesome to see this finished, with a minigame to catch the fish once they bite!

Everybody copies everyone all the time. We can only think of things we've already seen. If it's more blatant in a game competition for fun that doesn't mean it's inherently bad. It's good to change it up, but at the end of the day it's just a fun game.
