Yes! This was a great experience.
Was the resolution a challenge?
There were many challenges but I had a lot of fun making pixel art graphics for the game. Making low resolution pixel art is both satisfying and frustrating. I overcame these difficulties by creating many iterations of sprites and background images.
What did you learn?
I learned how to make a game with a time limit, as well as the stress of last minute bugs! Creating a finalized game helped me learn a lot about the process, as well as how to use the game engine more efficiently.

Simple, fun, has frog! Good art and sfx.
Hello fellow frog-game dev! What a pleasant little well-climbing game you've made with absolutely zero hidden bleakness!
Hey, I didn't sign up for *feelings*, where did these come from?!
Simple game with charming ilustrations i like it.
Nice simple game loop. I think it would make it more intense if you made the frog slip down on the wall from time to time.
Simple but fun gameplay loop! This is one of those games where you just keep trying to top your score. Good job!
Really cool game! I just you didn't make the frog look so sad when you lose :'(
holy crap its frogs i love these guys
holy crap a depressing story in which the character has no escape i feel emotionally ambiguous about those guys
A lot of Downwell vibes, I adore it!
As a fan of frogs, I enjoyed the game! The graphics are simple but eye-catching. I also liked you've scoped the game well so you could deliver it at a polished state during the jam. Overall, fun game!
Good job!
I really wanted to play this game, as I love the art style, and downwell vibe - however for some reason the arrow keys don’t work :(
Any chance there’s something you can do? Maybe even enabling wasd controls would fix it?
Let me know if you ever dig into this and I’ll come back to play :)
Thanks!
Hey! Thanks for the input, I checked out the arrow key controls for both web and download (they only work on certain screens, check out Screenshot 4 for reference :) If the issue continues please let me know!
Frog gamer to frog gamer, this is a frog game alright.
I can see myself getting distracted by this game for hours on accident, I love the simplicity of it both in gameplay and design. Great job!
Thanks for playing! :)
Simple and effective, very good looking. An excellent jam game. Good job!
The animations for the frog were damn good and cute lol. Also loved the way the difficulty curve ramped up. It was very noticable and very steady. Damn good overall
My high score so far is 296
Simple game with addicting gameplay, made even better by the cute frog art and the easter eggs - I feel so sorry for him!
The sound effects are very nice.
I really like the simplicity of the gameplay, it reminds me a lot of the Google No Internet Dino game. I couldn't figure out how to get the arrow keys to do anything, but it was fun to play the game just with the spacebar. Congrats on finishing the jam! :)
Thank you for playing! Hint! Try using the left and right arrow keys in later "start" screens -- Screenshot 4 for reference :D -- If the arrow keys still do not work, please let me know!
Simple idea executed well, and cute pixel art! Also sound effects are nice
This is definitely inspired by Downwell, isn't it? That's okay, that game is great! I love that you can talk to the frog. I went and told him to give up and had to restart to keep playing cuz he did! i love that! The big art of the frog was very well done. the gameplay was simple yet addicting, though i think the hitbox of either the character or the mushroom was too big cuz it seemed like that's all that ever killed me. Fun game though!
Yes definitely! -- I'll check out the hitboxes for future updates, thank you for the input!
