I wanna say that I liked this game a lot and definitely considered this one of the top games this jam. However, all judges had their ideas what to award honorable mentions to, and it was quite a stretch to include them all.

Anyway, great game nonetheless! The core mechanics are very innovative :)

Wow, a great idea! You also got so much done, considering the creative texts, quite a bunch of levels, and the final challenge! The achievements are quite funny, I really was thinking "Wow, there really is an achievement for everything", such as travelling 50 meters :).

I also like that the player often has to aim for the middle ground, collect some coins, but not many, take some damage, but not die, etc. etc., - it felt like a balancing game, which I really liked.

The final level could pose as a nice challenge even with half the length, and some waves feel beatable only when you know what is coming, but I guess it's an addition for replayability. But that's a small thing. I did however connect 24 coins on the first try :o

All in all, great work!

The game concept is supercool and playing to the beat is fantastic. I would just like to have more of an introductory level to practicing things, or maybe a tutorial. I think it could be a very ncie game afterwards, especially learning when to start running towards a gap so that the beat leads to a jump at the edge is quite exciting! Would like to see an improved post-jam version!

Good job, team!

Oh, nice game. I like that you managed to put together multiple polished scenes of the game, the talking screen, the packing game and also a nicely looking menu. I didn't manage to pack for the trip, but I had fun trying :D. Well done!

Despite being a snake game, I like it and have spent a longer while playing it than I would've expected :D. Nicely done, I like the changing speed and quite a fun interpretation of the theme :)

wow, what a rush to make mini-games. Even though, I would discourage people to do this kind of game at a jam, this one works and is quite funny and nice. The only thing that is kinda lacking is the time it takes to transition between the mini-games, but otherwise you got that warioware feel with an interesting stylization. Oh, and very nice audio and aesthetics, also :)

I have failed the first stage several times and hopefully I'll make time to play and get to the others after doing this, but I like that you've found the time to even have an introduction to controls and UI as a part of the game! The first part is tedious, but still bears some originality.

Altogether, it already looks quite cool!

This is a great narrative experience with wonderful graphics! The cards are top notch and the dialogue is well written. There could be ... ehm ... some gameplay ... but, it doesn't need it. The atmosphere is tight! Well done!

If this were a minigame in an adventure game, I would be very much looking forward to playing it!

This was a really great experience! I like all the jokes in this game, the punishment of eating a kind of berry, the message of that I died, the running animations. Great little package! I would love to be able to win the game, but it seems it has the nihilistic vibe of "nothing matters, everyone will die" :D

Nice game that seems to promise a lot of content, but my experience was similar to what is mentioned here also - the fight seemed quite difficult, so after a while I tried to just leg it, but crashed. The art and feel of the game is really atmospheric, so I think with a little more combat-polish it could be quite a smash hit :)

The game seems really cool, but seems quite buggy - I was able to get myself stuck twice. It has a very nice feeling though, I think it has great potential :). And of course I enjoy the red dwarf references ;)

A very nice interpretation of how you can approach a gamejam game. Make art that is mostly static, keep the environment tight and focus on a couple core gameplay mechanics. Very nice and enjoyable atmospheric game!

Truly, one of the best "talking games" I've played. The overall feel is nice and how you've played with the theme is very clever. Great job!

Nice and innovative game with creative puzzles. It could use a little better UX to e.g. reorder the cards, but a great jam game! I like the little jokes all around, like the crazy buttons :)

Very nice visuals in this fighting game! I like the design, the fighting is a little clunky, but with some polishing of the mechanics, and adding some audio, this could be really great fun :)

Interesting idea, I like the deck-building aspect of the game. Could use a better UI to be a great game

A nice game idea about being stuck with the same direction! It is quite pleasant to play, with smooth sounds and overall aesthetics. Well done!

Simple game, but very polished which makes this a really good game. The intro and the sound is superb! I feel like the game is trying to spread some kind of message about throwing own religion on uncolonized word, but I am not exactly sure what the message is... Or what does it try to do with the parallel of slimey inhabitants... :D

I really like the idea, very original! Also cool music and animations. The only thing I would prefer is to have more clear instructions in the start on what to do as I only understood after a bit of playing. Well done, nevertheless!

Nicely done game! I like the environment and the ending! I think a little bit more polish (prevent losing keys as you go, easier placement of cubes) would go a long way.

Post your work-in progress on Sunday!

Post screenshots of your work in progress! :)

Yes, of course! Make sure you list the names of all your team members :)

Fun idea and execution, it just gets repetitive rather quickly. Great visuals and audio work!

Nice, polished and fun game! The 1-hit death is quite punishing, but great work!

Heh, some find it quite easy, some find it too hard, difficult to please everyone. We were thinking to create an easy mode and a hard mode, but we would give up some polishing and fine-tuning, so we scrapped it in the end... It seems it would've been the best option, tho.

How far did you get?

Yeah, we felt like we gravitate towards making the game too hard or even unplayable, so we really forced the beginning to be easy :). I think it gets hectic in the further stages, did you finish the game?

I liked the idea and the game could be something that would be nice to sink some minutes in, however the UX (controls, what is power?) really buries the experience.

The game is quite wonderful and absolutely fits the theme. It is quite hard to recognize all the blocks, especially when the body gets larger. Might need some fine tuning, but it is a fun experience regardless!

Feels like it fits among 2048 and agar.io, and with some fine-tuning could have the same potential as these two hits :).

Good game and a solid idea! Fits the theme wonderfully!

Very nice and polished platformer! I enjoyed the gameplay, the presentation, the amount of content and everything around. However, I think that if you removed the clone following your footsteps, the game would still play mostly the same. I mean, you usually don't need to press the switches (as you can essentially fly with the gun), and there are other mechanics to keep you moving (some enemies, trying to speedrun, etc.).

I think it is just one tiny step from being truly awesome. It definitely has a potential of becoming a fully fletched game capable of being sold on Steam or something - with more invested time to polish  it.

I really (like really really) like the aesthetic. First time I got bug that the dog got stuck in transition to phase 2. I gave it a second shot and I died for being to greedy to get many hits. Unfortunately, the gameplay is quite repetitive and simplistic for me to try further.
