Simple game, but very polished which makes this a really good game. The intro and the sound is superb! I feel like the game is trying to spread some kind of message about throwing own religion on uncolonized word, but I am not exactly sure what the message is... Or what does it try to do with the parallel of slimey inhabitants... :D

the intro is gold and the voiceover gives the game spice, that was a great decision!! I found the game way too harsh after there's two or more enemies coming at you from nowhere at the same time, maybe a sprint option would help in dodging? One of the lines  at the start of gameplay (something like "this creature is ready...") helped me understand what I was supposed to do, if that was intentional, as a tutorial of sorts, that's cool and you are cool!

Hi, the line is "the creature is ready to hear the Lord's word" and it's intentional. We have the controls and some gameplay tips only on itch io...  After the jam we found out that you can push convered enemies in front of you and hide behind them. It might help a bit.

The best game of the game jam! It's simple, but really hard. I love the voice, it's so funny! Really nice twist to this theme!

This game is easily my favourite game in terms of how everything fits together. The intro is very nice, the voice reading is an amazing touch, great choice of that, the music gives the game urgency and grandness, the start of the ship is so good and the artstyle is super neat, I really like it a lot. The game is witty with the player's remarks, I love that, but also has a bitter taste of  historical inspiration and I like that a lot too. I haven't been able to finish it yet, to me it's a bit too difficult, it feels like in the close combat the monsters always manage to make damage, but I'll try more. Amazing game, imo!! (edit: okay like two hours later, I finished it XD, truly I love the game so much!)
