Hi, my name is Victoneix and I need your help. I'm studying music theory and I want to become a game music producer. My favorite style is chiptune, and I also love C418's music style. I'd like to know how I can improve and how I can practice more to become a great producer. If you'd like to see what I've already produced, here's my SoundCloudaccount. Please help me, I'm very lost; I don't know what I should practice or what I should do. YouTube tutorials don't help much; even using AI didn't give me any direction. What I want to know is how I should practice, how I can apply what I learn about music theory, and what the main concepts are for creating chiptune-style music. Please, I really want to improve in this area.

Hello, my name is Vitor, and I decided to create this topic about the port of the Minecraft console version to PC.
I’ve noticed that many people are going back to playing older versions of the game, especially the console and mobile versions. So I decided to create this topic for those who enjoy playing the console port on PC.
Post an image or video of your Minecraft map, or simply share your opinion about this version.
This is the map I created about a week ago.

I’ve been searching in many places on the internet, but I still don’t understand how I can learn about Perlin Noise or how to apply it in GameMaker.
I would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this. I’m not looking for video tutorials, but rather an article or a blog that can explain in a simple way how I can learn and understand Perlin Noise.
If you've ever played Vvvvvv or Flappybird, you'll like this game.

In my opinion, if a programmer understands what the code does, they can use it. For me, if someone knows how to use AI-generated code and understands what they’re doing, they shouldn’t feel ashamed of using AI in game development. For example, if you use AI to learn a piece of logic or a code snippet, and you’re able to understand it, that’s what really matters.
But if you use AI and don’t understand how the code works or what it does, then you simply don’t know what you’re doing. I use AI to help me understand certain pieces of code, and also to learn the logic behind a game mechanic that I’ve seen.
AI didn’t come to take our jobs, but to help make our work easier. There are many people who struggle to understand code, and AI can help with that.
Hello world, my name is Vitor, and I’m 19 years old. I’ve been in the world of game development for almost a year now. I’m from Brazil, and I love game programming. I started this journey because of Markus Persson, the creator of Minecraft.
I really enjoy indie games, especially those that became very successful. A perfect example is VVVVVV and My Summer Car. My favorite hobbies are working on personal game projects, making music, and playing Minecraft.
I need an artist who knows how to create asset tiles and animations. I want to form a team of just two people: myself and one other artist. I'm Brazilian, so I don't speak English. But I use ChatGPT and Google Translate to communicate with you. If you're interested, just reply to this thread, or send me a message on Discord @victoneix.
Hello everyone, how are you? I made this game for a jam called 20 SECOND GAME JAM, where the goal was to create a game that lasts a maximum of 20 seconds.
I need help from anyone reading this: please playtest my game and give me feedback on what I should improve.
Below is a link that leads to the itch.io page. There, you’ll need to enter a password to download the game — the password is eggs.
Download the game, play it, and tell me what I should improve or fix.

Hello! I’m looking for someone who can draw pixel art to help me with the development of a game I’m making for a game jam.
I don’t speak English very well, so I’ll be using Google Translate or ChatGPT to communicate. I can’t show the GDD because it’s in another language, but I can explain everything in detail.
What I need:
-
Backgrounds / environments;
-
Characters;
-
Obstacles / game objects.
The game will be short, so the amount of work is not very large.
Art style reference:
-
80s and 90s arcade look;
-
Black outline around the sprites;
-
Bright, vivid color palette.
I can’t pay, but I can offer credit and promotion of your work. I’ll help make sure you get recognition for helping with the project.
If you're interested, just let me know!
Hello. I’m developing a game called MiningMan. It’s based on the games (Infiniminer, Minecraft, dwarf fortress, and Bomberman). The goal of the game is to mine in order to find 3 rare ores while you have to escape from the monsters that appear on the screen.
I need a name that matches the game. If you’d like to see some images of the game, just ask. But since the game is in Alpha Indev, don’t create any sprites for it.

1. Questão sobre a I.A. do bot
