Really polished and the sound is GREAT...

Nicely done!

Added it to my new list to try this year. The music choice in the trailer is such a cool move - when I saw the medieval styled drawings and then the dirty 'lil vermins, it was a perfect merge.

Loved the thinking about the style.

60 mins later, and I got the predator head and baby larvae in my hands. Safe and sound.
Loved it!

Good sfx choices, loved the juicy, meaty and punchy hit sounds.

Music choices great. Loved the battle themes and BOSS themes were tense. Whoever wrote the themes in such good time, excellent work. Liked that the instrument libraries choices were kept to match the visuals and not overly polished with realism/reverbs (hinting at spitfire priced libraries)

Gameplay was so much fun.

The introduction of a living-room and zooming into a tabletop was a w e s u m.

Had so much fun! WELL DONE

You had me hooked for almost an hour.

Love the idea, mechanics.

Music looping could have been left out.

In terms of theme for THIS jam, not to sure if it's suited, but I'm VERY happy I found this. Really enjoyed the game.

Very addictive game, well done.

Absolutely loved it.

Introduction visuals and text were stunning. Created a calm and loving emotion. End of text, reading about the story had me engaged, but the visuals definitely helped.

Every scene was well planned. In interest of time, I won't comment now on specific level details, but each area was clearly well planned ahead of time.
Tiny details! The little pills (I am a careworker and those details are ingrained in my psyche and has special reference during my dayjob)

I don't normally play for long during reviews, but even though I fell through the map the first time, I started again. You had my attention.

Aesthetics informed emotions perfectly for each scene.

Good music choices! I am having a look at the asset pack now and will probably think of releasing music like this myself. I saw how it was implemented and how well the tracks worked emotionally.

This was one of my best experiences on itch so far.

Bravo! Loved it loved loved it.

Thx so much! Thank you for taking the time to play!

Very positive experience on game-start. Loved the environment -visually-.
Learning curve was well thought-out, could have been faster, but that is a game mechanic more than anything.

Loved the sound of the robot movement. Good choice. The spring sound when jumping, could have left it out.

Visually, loved the decisions. The story leaves me with wanting to find out more about the robot left alone. Very nice...

Very good and well done, especially seeing it is your first... That deserves a special mention.

Be  proud of yourself. I hope you enjoyed making it as much as people enjoy playing it. See ya around!

Clear and adequate instructions on start.

Immediately started playing. Environment felt good.
Mouse controls are too sensitive and running... frustrating, but probably part of the experience, so fits well within feel of the game.

Enjoyed the visuals.
Good looking 3d models. Colour-scheme was suitable.

Music on loop was loud, but looping track was suitable and contributed perfectly to create a sense of anxiety and fear.

Environment was bigger than expected and being a small toy, I felt suitably overwhelmed and tiny.

Teddy bear growl was frightening, thanks for that. Fits well with setting.

With more time, I'm sure you can get the audio to sit well within the environment.

Getting away was stressful and difficult. Dying frequently. Part of the emotional experience and fits well.

Stopped after 10 mins.
Definitely worth revisiting and developing.

Well done with the limited time.

Fun and engaging even at this stage.

Love the idea of having African flags/nations represented in the play. It will become massively popular if eventually, you can incorporate landscapes, music and cultural elements from each nation, but that's obviously a MASSIVE project, but just putting it out there.

The cars loaded in fine, sounded fine.
The Doppler effect the cars make when passing is soooo satisfying!
The motorcyle's audio pans from hard right+left constantly, so I'm not sure if you intended for the audio files to be set to MONO instead. It could also be my browser, it took about 3-5 minutes to load properly, and maybe the audio buffering is an issue.

Fun concept overall!
Not super easy to control the vehicles, but it makes for a fun experience.
I was quite surprised when the npc car came crashing into me, instead of slowing down and passing or stopping in typical awkward npc style.

Looking forward to what becomes of this.

Loved the isolated and anxious feelings evoked. the Wind sfx was a good choice... Loved the idea and choices made under the time constraints. The priorities picked made the game enjoyable and evoked the right emotions.  Looking forward to checking out 'yer other titles.

"yar"

(1 edit)

I enjoyed everything  about this.

So much fun. Easy to play and is easy on the mouse.

I liked to reload sfx sound and the music was cool.

I loved the strafe and forward movement you decided on.

The use function on the crates was  a good choice.

Really cool idea for a wave of enemies game when you are stuck in different scenarios.

Fun, charming. The prompts were great:) Helped me look at my hording and cluttering more objectively... Gotta get rid of those old shoes...

The music loop was cute, but the ambience recording set the mood quite well. it has scope to use a pavement arcade environment with ambient sfx too... I would just lower the volume thats all.

The idea is GREAT.

Verrrrrry addictive XD. I liked the buffs/options you can save up for. The fighting mechanic was clever.
I made it to the crystal caves yay.

Ive never played this type of game before (romance text is it?) .The color/aesthetic fits well and the music in the intro sets the stage for a romantic sitcom-like feel, but not dramady. Worked well. Consider the time constraints, I think the music choice fits perfectly.
I took the persona of Nutmeg and stuck to holding hands thank you. I love my cats and I think I would like to stay alive a lil longer :)
Loved what you did!

Love the narrative style and the art was an immediate hook. My attention is just short, so I stopped after about 30 mins, but it deserves development.
