Spooky game. Very pretty visuals. Sadly mouse/camera control for me was too sensitive, could barely move around (i played in the browser).
Great idea for the topic, overall a fun little experience :)
hey thank you so much!
I had a heart attack the second I saw these big black teddy bears. The collisions are weird, but otherwise it was fun.
Thanks for the review!
This is so crazy!!! I didn't know it was a horror game until I saw you could hide in closets—and then I ran right into the bears🤣!!! Great game! Some of the collision was a bit messed up, but otherwise, great job! 👍
Thanks so much!!
I did not see the enemy for the longest time and I did not see the thumbnail either, so I just jumped at my own shadow on the capsule collider haha. Scary! Hid in the shower and fell through the wall into the bears. Tried to escape to the car because I thought there is no walls in the lower floors, nope. Stress simulator 10/10
Glad you had fun!
Well, I made it to the first floor, but those creepy bears kept gettin' me! 😫
Pretty fun and spooky game! I thought the mouse controls were fine.
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Clear and adequate instructions on start.
Immediately started playing. Environment felt good.
Mouse controls are too sensitive and running... frustrating, but probably part of the experience, so fits well within feel of the game.
Enjoyed the visuals.
Good looking 3d models. Colour-scheme was suitable.
Music on loop was loud, but looping track was suitable and contributed perfectly to create a sense of anxiety and fear.
Environment was bigger than expected and being a small toy, I felt suitably overwhelmed and tiny.
Teddy bear growl was frightening, thanks for that. Fits well with setting.
With more time, I'm sure you can get the audio to sit well within the environment.
Getting away was stressful and difficult. Dying frequently. Part of the emotional experience and fits well.
Stopped after 10 mins.
Definitely worth revisiting and developing.
Well done with the limited time.
Thank you for the extensive review!
Played: 15min
FPS using scare tactics.
The first minute I struggled with the mouse sensitivity. Then the first 3 minutes was interesting to explore, but sadly that became limited.
The main music is good in setting in anxiety and the few sfx was contributing to the fear factor, especially while hiding in the closet. Sadly, this is where the fun element stopped. So many nice-looking models, but clipped, which if it was solids, could have made the chase worthwhile. Not able to kick the big beach ball was surprisingly disappointing.
The use of the theme was good, but the story was not present. If itch did not provide a description page, I would not have known the toys are angry, or why. The ending didn’t feel like a success, and the game still continued, meaning the bears still kill you eventually.
This game has potential for a mini-game or party-game.
Thank you sir! Very accurate review.
Very cool execution of the theme! Love the vibe of it!
Is the camera rolling down a feature or a bug?
In a game jam everything is a feature. And in your game the main character is a bug XD
Was a pleasure working on this game!
