Its fun dashing around chopping enemies. I think I beat the game

Never seen anything like this done before, really cool!

Really strong visuals. I was a little lost where to go though I followed all the paths I could see and they led to dead ends.

Not really sure what else I can do except walk around, but making anything work with raw c++ is a win

I like the survival concept, took me a bit to memorize the controls though

I like the story, I wish it went on a little longer but the surprise ending is effective

Thanks for playing! We appreciate the feedback. We plan to update the game by giving the bosses AI and attacks which should hopefully make them more obvious and more of a threat. The deadline had us cut a lot more than we were expecting, so I hope you'll give it another shot when we update it

I've never seen that issue before, I changed some settings and uploaded a new build hopefully that fixes it. From what I found online you could be missing the Microsoft visual C++ or DirectX necessary to run it

at the car at the very start, I wasn't able to move and couldn't grab it

I'm glad you liked the story! We definitely plan to flesh the bosses out in the future, we just ran out of time unfortunately

Really loved the weapon mechanics, being able to improvise any weapon really added a sense of progression. My one issue is that I got lost after finding a key in the corn maze I never found what it goes to. I tried the barn and the back door on the house but neither seemed to work. I also had to restart the game when I first played it I couldn't pick up the first health pack no matter how much I spammed E.

Really cool mechanic having your deaths become enemies, I think I ran into a bug after dying an immortal starfish was chasing me around. otherwise great work!

I like the puzzle concept, although I felt a few months were a bit vague.

The art direction is really well done, it gave a really strong atmosphere

The movement is really fun to play with! it took me a few levels to figure out you could control both arms, I kept reaching forward, dropping to the ground and repeating lol.

Didn't get to try it multiplayer unfortunately, but its very cool solo!

Upgrades were fun and well balanced. it took me a bit to figure out how to scroll the upgrade menu to get to the turret and mines. Ended up maxing out all the upgrades and beating the boss. Very fun game!

Cool game! The weapon selection made it very replayable

I like the concept of balancing mining and not freezing, would love to see this expanded on maybe with mining to upgrade the base or just different things to mine or avoid. Also the game was pretty small I couldn't get it to fullscreen. Very cool game though

Finished normal mode. I think if you could hit enter to retry the level it would go a long way, having to move over to my mouse every attempt really slows me down. I enjoyed the challenge though!

Fun concept, I'm not sure how far I got in the upgrades but I think it would be cool if the mech eventually could attack or maybe offered more than just the ability to mine, since I felt like I got interrupted from mining a little too frequently. Had fun playing it!

If we keep developing this game a rebind menu is for sure something we're considering, I appreciate the feedback!

Really strong art style. I wish the towns had health bars maybe so I could know what to prioritize

Enjoyed the setting and story! The sprites are really well done

Yeah we definitely designed this with controller in mind first, we're not really sure what keys are the best for keyboard and mouse we're open to suggestions

Great art and music

Took too long to realize I could dash through trees but once I figured that out it was fun. If you don't want to tell the player thats an option maybe trap the player early on so they try every option sooner

7/20/2023 Updated mech 2 to use the correct texture files, no altered gameplay or code

Feels like something I would have played for hours on those flash game websites back in the day

Feels like a solid proof of concept. Would have liked to see more enemies and a bigger area just to get to play with the controls a little longer

I think you forgot to make it public

The controls felt pretty natural, like the art style. It might be a little too easy to use missiles on everything though

The games movement feels a little slow but otherwise its pretty good

Love the movement mechanics!
