The concept is great! Visuals are wonderful! The whole idea is very well thought and feels completed. A great game for a 2-week period, I absolutely love it!

Absolutely adored the concept, it is really great!

I like the puzzle concept, although I felt a few months were a bit vague.

Loved the game! Even though I'm not very good at puzzles :p

Neat little game! Liked the pixel art and enjoyed watching the village grow.

Very cool game! Simple premise, but it ramps up quick with the number of properties to keep track. I really like the mono-color palette.

There were a couple moments where I though I knew what to look for, but then it seemed like Cthulu changed its mind on that one!

Really good use of the gifts theme. Awesome visuals and audios too. Well done!

I am trying to figure out the gifts to give to the right people based on the conversation right beforehand, but it seems like I'm not picking up on something since I'm getting so many wrong.

Cool idea. I love the cryptic poetry. But I think the gift items need a bit of work to not be as confusing. In February, it seemed like Pulsing is meant to be a proper choice, but it was giving me wrong choices with 2 different instances.

Aside from that, I think the game would be tons of fun. Good job otherwise! Nice art, cool ambiance.

Thank you so much for your feedback :). This was the first time I tried making a puzzle game, and there were many design choices that were not well-thought-out.

My idea was to show the player in the second month that when there is more than one positive property in the enigma, the player must choose a card that contains both properties simultaneously. But looking back, it becomes tough to guess that's that case  without prior knowledge since the game doesn't do much to explain that to the player.

Thank you again for sharing your experience, I now see that I should have designed the gifts differently, to express the game mechanics better to the player. I will take that feedback to heart and try to improve on the front in the next game jams I participate :)

Puzzle Games are really hard, so don't get yourself down. You have a cool concept. I think communication to the player just needs some adjustments to work out. Maybe instead of month 2, push it to month 4? That way month 1, player tries things out, messes up. Month 2 is learning from what they understood from month 1, and month 3 to get a good grasp on the mechanics/game. Then start iterating from there?

You did awesome overall :D.

Thank you so much again for your feedback :) I will not be too upset about it xD. Yeah, that idea of a slower progression seems very nice and makes sense!

Next time, I will take this feedback into consideration and try to make games that introduce concepts in a more organic way to the player :).
