Sorry for the trouble, many people have reported this.
You can still build manually, the button was just blending in a bit too much. I added a border to it so it's more obvious now.

Hello,

In this post, I want to include a permanent Discord invite link.  If you enjoy my game and want to chat with other players or with me, you are welcome!  I also take bug reports and feature requests over there.

Dang that's a very unfortunate one.  I fixed it internally.  Thank you.

Already implemented, will be in next update!  Thanks!

Good catch on both!  Definitely not intended.  Thanks for the report.

I can't say for sure without looking at your savefile, but it sounds extremely likely that this is due to either a worker or power shortage.

If you think that's not the case, feel free to upload your savefile somewhere and I'll investigate.

I will clarify it.  Thanks.
With all your comments looks like you're enjoying my game.  Thanks for playing!

1. Yes. 100% planned, but not in the next major update / RWG. The weather model was designed specifically from the grounds up to be able to model Mars, Earth, Titan and Venus (but a small amount of the higher temperature logic remains to be implemented).  Venus is a logical terraforming target, but going there from the start does not seem possible judging by its ridiculously high temperature.  Electronics would likely just fry with current technology.  Some sort of advancement needs to be made.

2. Yes, stars will have different classes/size.  I believe some story stars will be based on real known stars, but certainly any extra-solar world will be mostly made up.

3. Absolutely, and available even as part of the RWG/next update, with some realistic cap.  I expect the ones in the next update to be somewhat easier than smaller world due to the way the column mass of gases relate to pressure.  Later on though... we can imagine there are some worlds, that are very, very, very large.

4-5. :) Not answering those two.  Some surprises have to remain surprises.  I will just say I am well aware of these two ideas :)  I will also say Dyson Sphere is definitely planned to be in the game, but not as a terraformable target.

Thank you for the report.  This appeared to have been a bug on resolutions below a certain width.  It should be fixed in the next update.

Should be easy, surprised I haven't done it already.  Should be in for next release.  Thanks.

Should be an easy change.  Thanks that makes sense and definitely should be that way.

What do you think of this solution to the speed up : with enough colonists, they can help parallelize the project, so I can add some controls to multiply the number of satellites launched for each, say, 10000 colonists.  So in the mid game this becomes a non-issue and we can launch pretty much all of them pretty quickly.  This would not impact the early game pacing.
I like to imagine HOPE is launching those by itself, so it would need help to launch more than one at once.  Makes sense?
I am not a big fan of increasing the maximum amount of satellites though.  I think they should saturate and 1000 is plenty.  But I'll keep it in mind.

Hmmmm, this is worth thinking about.  Not all of the energy would turn into heat, but some definitely would.  energy given to spaceships (which tends to be the bulk of it in my game) certainly would not.
Thanks for the idea, I'll give it some thought.

Titan is an intended part of the demo.
Interesting about methane being mentioned on Mars...  That might be a bug.  Can you be more specific about where it was mentioned?

There is always some degree of sublimation / condensation, you are just getting a bit more sublimation with more heat.  If you want to know more, the equation involved here is called the Penman's equation.

More heat means more water saturation pressure, which means more moisture.  It's just a natural phenomenon.  If you stop your ghg factory for a bit you will see it stabilize at a new equilibrium.

It would certainly be nice but I think that's beyond my scope at this point.  My apologies :(

Should be an easy fix.  Thans for the report.

I have pushed a hotfix.  I am so so sorry.  My apologies.

Good to know!  Sometimes adblockers interact with scripts, and my game is very heavy on javascript.  I am running no ads so at least you should not be needing it here, but good to know for me in the future.   Thank you!

Hmmmm, let me ask you some questions.

1) Did the intro sequence play (black screen with typing text)?

2) Can you see the journal on the right?  Is it typing?  If so, what is the latest text?

3) What browser are you using?  Do you have any extensions that might interact with this?  PC should be fine, I have tested this on Firefox, Chrome and Edge.

I apologize for the technical issues.  I am not sure what could be causing this.

I have hot fixed this issue, life coverage can now reach 50% even with no investment in space efficiency in the life designer.  You should be good now :)
In the future though, when producing oxygen, it's worth it to spend points in space efficiency and geological burial.  Life is a bit faster than oxygen factories, although you can definitely use both!
