You can sometimes depend on luck to finish levels easier, but it this is certainly a very unique and clever game. Art and level design is also really good.

It was fun and satisfying to move the character. The voice acting and narration is entertaining. Overall a really good game!

There is potential of more gameplay elements and levels. I would love to develop this game further if I find spare time and motivation. Thank you for playing and giving feedback!

Thank you! I underestimated the effect of the indicator but it turned out really useful.

Thank you for feedback! I'm glad that I decided to make that indicator!

Good gameplay and cute character design. Nice job!

This game mechanic is very promising. You can make a proper indie game from this with enough work. Good job!

I had so much fun playing this. The visuals, effects and gameplay are top notch!

Very cool concept! I had fun solving the puzzles.

Very cute concept and good puzzles. Nice job :)

Very satisfying way to utillize simple 2D physics. It's well polished and really fun!

Really cool game! I liked the hook mechanic.

Fun little game. The shape of the rocks makes bouncing more out of control.

I really like the puzzles, I had fun solving them. The game mechanic seemed weak at first, but level design was so genius it actually amplified its fun a lot. It's one of those games where the game mechanic goes hand in hand with level design. I love it.

You really made me think hard on some puzzles. And I especially like the last level! You really have to think out of the box *wink* :)

Overall a really impressive game. I could see this winning the jam. Bravo.

It looks more like a full game rather than a jam game. It's very polished and has a lot of juice. This has the most fun I had in this jam so far!

The only downside is splitting enemy mechanic doesn't really add much to the game. It looks a lot like the other top-down shooters of this type.

Overall a very impressive game. Great job!

Hey I saw your game at GMTK stream! Looked sick! I’ll definitely play and rate it.

Idea is good, level design is amazing, the difficulty is easy enough to not everwhelm the player, great art. This is a game where I couldn’t find any cons. Good job!

Hello! I made a video about how this game looked from start of the development to the finish. Check it out!

I am honestly not satisfied with the physics in this game, simply because I wrote them from scratch and not using an existing physics library. It contains a lot of hacks and sometimes makes bombs move unexpectedly.

Explosion timing is calculated by how close the other bomb exploded. And there is actually an indicator for their timing. They blink faster when timer decreases and they become fully red without blinking when they are about to explode.

Anyways thanks for the feedback! It’s really appreciated!

I liked the reversing controls mechanic. Sudden reversing of the controls was a little disorienting when it happens mid jump though. Overall a good game with nice visuals. Good job!

Took me a while to understand the goal (tutorial wasn’t working) but it was fun, good job!

Good game!

Interesting idea with a lot of potential, and looks polished. It’s a little confusing when the inputs changed though. Maybe the amount of button shuffling could be turned down a bit. Good game overall.

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted to at least create a thorn-like hazard where it would explode the bomb immediately, but I weren't able to do it in jam time unfortunately.

This game is really polished, fun game. The AI dialogs made me giggle. Visuals are amazing. The only con is it doesn't really have new/interesting game mechanics. Overall a very good game! Nice job!

Hilarious game! Car physics is a little wonky and it needs more game mechanics, but I had fun! Good job!

Man so many linux users. I couldn't test my game on linux since I don't have a linux machine.

I have finished your game! I thought you used same idea as mine but nope. Your idea was really neat!

You should be able to resize the window - at least on windows, no idea if you can do it on ubuntu.

Zombies have rather small hitbox compared to their appearances, that was because of wall collision system uses the same hitbox as bullets do. And I have to make them small to fit them better in small spaces. (I made the collision system within jam period lol)

Thank you for feedback!

I haven't tested with linux but someone in the comments managed to run on ubuntu. It might because of your java version maybe?

I have a potential fix (updated libgdx/lwjgl version) but can't upload because uploads are disabled now.

There is no download button. Here's why:

I was able to finish this game hours before deadline but getting a runnable jar file produced errors. Fixing the error took hours and I was able to get runnable file a minute before deadline! And jam ended DURING UPLOAD :( This page created without file.

I'm not able to upload to itch.io. But if you want to try here is download link: https://mega.nz/#!6kV0CS7K!0z37rc_mb7FZdD0excM8b6qTaXUOWXC8lxRsjNDiEcQ

Here is the game's github page: https://github.com/AliYil/gmtkjam18-entry

Notice the last commit date is before the deadline. This proofs that I finished development before deadline. Thanks for reading.
