Cute game!
I wish previous "tasks" were not deleted when reseting or losing, it makes it really diffcult because you have to remember in addition to understand ^^'
Good job!

Merci pour le commentaire!
Il y a malheureusement au moins 2 bugs bloquants qui empêchent de terminer la première loop, il y en a un que j'ai repéré quelques minutes après la limite de temps, l'autre que je n'ai toujours pas compris haha ^^'

Thanks for this comment!
If you loved the tradeoff, my goal is reached! haha I think with a lot more polish and weapons that ACTUALLY work according to their description, it could be even more interesting.

Oh no I think you had the infinite loop crash I noticed after the time limit T_T
Thanks for your comment! I think you are right on every point! The game is totally unbalanced and I don't give the good information when they are needed, which make the game unclear and/or clunky to play.
I plan to make a v2 version, so I take good note of these feedbacks! thanks!

Oh tanks for this kind comment! And thanks or playing!

Fun game with interesting gameplay mechanics! Good job!

Here is the message I intended to write while reaching my second monday : "Disappointed, I really wish I could smash this photocopier or strangle my boss with these f**** cables at some point".
Here is the message I write after closing the game : "This one took me off guard, awesome entry!"

As a Kandinsky enjoyer myself, I really appreciate the artstyle and the music!
Unfortunately the gameplay is often clunky and the very low shooting limit doesn't help.
Good job though!

My favorite game of this jam so far.
Everything is perfect : the concept, the visuals, the audio, the narration, the mood.
You can be proud of it! Great job!

Roasted these losers on my first try, I'm the best slug in this aquarium!
Fun game, really cute and enjoyable! My only complaint is about the camera angle that always made me click on the first two rows.
Anyway, very good job!

Interesting take on the theme, simple but very well made. The controls feel really good. Good job!

Simple and cute! I liked it, good job!
But, does it hurt? 🥺

A challenging but good level design! Paired with nice artwork and overall googd ambient. Good job!
Also, I managed to get stuck under a platform by colliding with it at high speed (after jumping on a mushroom)

Came for the cute art, stayed for the Kill La Kill vibe 😂
Really nice take on the theme! I struggled with the keys but I'm not playing on a QWERTY keyboard, that may be even harder.
Great job!

Nice take on the theme!
An in-game tutorial at the first level can be a good idea, I was a little lost at first. Good job though!

Being lazy should not be that hard! 😭
Simple but efficient concept and execution! Good job!

Me playing the tutorial : oh I see, easy
Me when the actual game starts: THEY MOVE?! OH NO!

Nice simple concept with solid execution, good job!

Super creative and interesting take on  the theme! And super nice ambience, I loved it!
It looks like the planet counter is broken, mine was staying at 0/8 while I managed to reach 6/8. It didn't stop me to play though :D
Anyway,  really nice work, congratulations!

Hello fellow Unreal User!
Un concept simple mais efficace, très agréable à jouer! Bon travail!
Le combo double shield + assault rifle est complètement broken par contre, les pauvres ne pouvaient rien faire pour m'arrêter hehe :D

Hey guys! Here is a list of known issues I'm aware of, sorry about that :(
- Weapons sometimes can't be used on third boss. Investigating on this
- Crash when enemy doesn't have weapon left
- The balancing is not very good and the game is hard as hell :)

Interesting take on the loop theme and really relaxing! Scrabble loops as a gameplay feature is unexpected!
Unfortunately quite hard for a non native English speaker like, I was not able to explore a lot.
Good job!

The only complaint I have it the size of the supermarket elements, they are really small if you don't play the game full screen.
Yet, you reached some perfect aesthetics and perfect sense of humor! The divorce option was peak, good work!

Crazy good concept and really fun to play!
It's very interesting how the game encourages you to make shitty sound before trying to resolve the levels haha.
Nice job!

Interesting take on the theme. I feel like some controle features are missing, such as a dash or something to trick the evil eyes.
Good job!

Interesting take on the theme! And a very pleasant game to play.
My brain kindda melt, but it was worth it! Good job!

Clunkyness as a feature! Took me some time to figuer how to use the shotgun but once I managed to do it, it was really fun. Good job!

Hello!
Thanks for playing!

That's crazy, I made this little game SEVEN years ago, how did you end up here? (I think that's because I've submitted this to GMTK jam by accident before removing it, but it's really unlikely you played it during the 10 minutes it was submitted haha)

Anyway, thanks for your feedbacks! I may feel nostalgic about this game some day and decide to do a sequel with nearly +10years XP in game dev. Interesting idea!

(1 edit)

Hello there!

I'm really interested in joining this jam! The concept and the community sounds super cool! My problem is : I'm not what we can call a beginner ^^' I've already participated in some game jams during the last 7 years. I'm not a programmer though, so making code is for me a new adventure every time! :D And ... it's been two years since I joined one on my own (which I plan to do this time).

So, my question is : can I join it or am I too experienced?

The global mood is incredible.
The music is beautiful and overall, I feel RELAXED playing the game, which is not super common.
Thanks and congratulations for this game!

Thanks for streaming my game and reading my post-mortem!

Thanks a lot for this feedback!

Indeed, it's more a "toy" than a "game" ^^

Working on a puzzle-like challenge is one of the first thing to do to improve this game. This idea of crazy shapes and why not crazy grid is really cool!

Thanks a lot for this cool feedback!

This is super fun and juicy! The game feel is really great. And even the UI is super sexy, good job!

A little light on the theme imo, but really cool to play, good job!

This was cool! The idea of a character gaining more features is interesting! I wish it was a little longer. Maybe try to soften the arrival of each feature. If the attack was discovered only in level 2 for example, the progression idea would have been way stronger, and the first level would have been more challenging.

Good work! Keep it up!

Cool visuals, pretty well made, but often unclear on what goes where and why. I gave a prefab to a bubble and I still don’t get what was supposed to give me a hint here. :s

Good work!

Simple and fun!

Are the falling objects fully randomized? I encountered some strange situations where I had like 10 errors in a row.

Good work!

The gameplay is quite simple but that mood is awesome!

I am not sure about the balancing, the energy is very difficult to get (getting inspired costs too much energy imo).

Very good work, congratulations!

I see what the idea behind this game was. The concept of a skill matching an issue is interesting. My humble advice here is that you need to think about challenge when you work on this kind of game. For instance here, removing cooldown on cards and making waves of different problems would have make the game more fast-paced and fun.

Good overall work though! Keep it up!

Classic gameplay but well made! I didn’t play a TD for a while!

I’m not sure about the theme though. It’s more about IT than game dev.

Good job!

Cute story! The game is fun to play but the pacing is a little too slow, which can be a little boring sometimes (the moves a very slow during the “void drift” part for example).

Good job! Keep it up!
