Thank you :)

It's like Katamari with guns! Great idea! It was pretty satisfying to build up my army into a giant ball of bullets.

To improve on this, maybe adding more challenges where you have to amass a large enough army to pass a certain group of enemies, where there are multiple paths and facing them in the right order is the key to success.

Wow, that's an incredibly satisfying game! I'm really impressed by how such a simple game can be so enjoyable to play. It's a top down shooter with a real challenge, which I feel most games of the genre lack.

My suggestion would be, to make the blue colour a bit brighter, as I had trouble seeing it against the dark background. And to not kill the player upon touching the sides, as I found I had so much to keep track of already, that I would hit the sides without realising and it was a frustrating way to lose a good run. Maybe have the player bounce off the sides instead?

Below is my highscore :)

P.S - GameMaker boys unite!

Nice little game, you've got the basic loop of a harvest moon/stardew valley type game down. Now it just needs expanding! One little thing I would like, is an audio and visual cue for when I'm getting low on energy, as I kept getting caught out of energy by surprise.

One more tip, when building game maker projects for jams, it's usually better to build it as a .zip, so people can get to playing without needing to install anything. Thank you.

The bunny art is really nice, and I like the concept of switching quickly between different characters. I think it needs a little more variety between them to improve the idea, maybe the different bunnies have different attack styles or abilities?

A hectic UPS simulator I didn't know the world was missing! I couldn't help but imagine this as a multiplayer overcooked style game! I think it needs a few more developments to make it more engaging, like changes in the environment that make getting the boxes from A to B more challenging.

A cute little game. I liked the little croc character! I think it needs a bit more work on the controls, I managed to get the code but couldn't quite figure out how to put it in the safe.

Wow really nice game! There was a real sense of progression to this which is quite hard to achieve in a game jam. I really liked how the game developed over time and it was satisfying to beat its challenges.

The only improvements I can suggest right now is that I found the character's jump to be pretty weak feeling, I'd like it to go a bit higher maybe, and I'd take another look at the collision on sloped surfaces, as it makes you move very slowly and its a bit unsatisfying.

Excellent game! The gameplay was really interesting and I liked how much mileage you got from the simple concept. The graphical effects are really nice too, it's a very charming game.

For next time, I would say to put more work into the controls, maybe let us press right shift to change colours as well as left shift, and to work on the level design to make it a bit more lenient. For example, move the platforms a bit further apart so the player has more time to press jump and then shift in quick succession, as I was struggling to pull that off.

Thank you so much ☺️

I wanted to make a challenging game but I think I made it a bit too hard, maybe I'll try adding difficulty options next time.

Genuinely amusing game concept, couldn't help but laugh at the opening story! Also a really cool concept to combine a farming game with a stealth game, and the way you use the same control scheme for both modes is great design. I think it's probably too punishing a set-up for a single life game however, as getting spotted instantly results in a game over and losing all your progress. A good game nonetheless, well done.

I really liked this game! It creates a chilling atmosphere with the music, visuals and dialogue, and it was so nice to play a jam game with a bit of story to it! The combat was sufficiently juicy as well, with excellent sound and visual feedback.

My biggest issues were:

- Sometimes I would fly into a planet and get immediately wrecked by the enemy ships there, perhaps don't allow ships to shoot at you while off screen? Or maybe a warning of some kind appears when an enemy is just on the edge of the viewable area, so we can still keep track of them even when not visible on screen?

- I had little direction on which planets to go to or what I would find there, sometimes I would really need  water and only find minerals, or vice versa, perhaps some kind of radar could let us see upcoming planets to let us make a better decision on where to go? This would mean reworking the dead planets, but I think it would lead to a better experience overall.

Quality entry, high marks from me!

I like the mechanic of using the sword to help you climb!

I liked the way the enemies tried to run away from me, like they could escape my wrath >:)

I like the outline effect, got that cel shading look going on.

Wow, what's this doing with so few ratings? I really liked this one! The battle music is superb, and I loved the interactive attack with the click fury, if you could unlock more of these attack by levelling up, that would be an excellent addition! The bug with screen transitions was a bit annoying, but I liked the game enough to retry and get got to the end eventually, so you're doing something right.

One question, how did you do those animated background for the battle screens? Is it just an animated sprite or is there some effects programmed in there? They're really cool!

Really nice artwork, animations and visual effects on display here! I found it pretty difficult to do any task other than batting scorpions though, as they come so fast I have little time for the other jobs. A good little game!

I really liked the effects in this one, the MS paint look actually works quite well here! It was satisfying to wack the enemies into oblivion with my giant cactus, and the throw animation is glorious. Nice job!

I really like this idea, you could develop something like this into a really cool game. I found myself getting a little lost in this version, I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing or what effect my actions would have, but I got there in the end. Nice game!

A great little game for your first ever creation! I hope this is the start of many more :)
To improve this game, I would zoom the camera out so we can see the whole oasis at once, look into adding some variety to the game play, like different enemy and weapon types, and look into adding music and sound effects. Even the simplest effects help tremendously to make your game feel fun to play.

Keep it up!

Loved discovering the shadows mechanic, a really nice touch. The 2D art is also professional looking so great job there. The biggest issue is balance, as you're already well aware of. I found myself only ever using the dart and being in a constant state of near death due to how fast the enemies would catch up me.

Overall though, an excellent game!

Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it :)

Ah yes you're right the jumping would really benefit from some more control, not sure why I never thought of that!
Thank you so much for your feedback and for playing the game.

Ahah yeah, the controls are a little un-intuitive, I wanted to add in game instructions but I ran out of time, glad you got to grips with them eventually though.  I'm glad you enjoyed you enjoyed the game though. Thank you for playing!

It was certainly tough to get the hang of the grapple, but once I got into the swing of things it was was actually pretty cool to swoop across the lava!

And of course, the ending makes it worth the trouble ;)

Nice game! I like the idea of having a shared resource between the player and the base we try and defend. I also like watching the oasis shrink and grow as water moves in and out of it. Also that cloud effect is really cool.

My only question is, am I the bad guy? ;)

Interesting concept, could see this turning into something cool with some development.

A very ambitious idea indeed. Could really use some feedback and explanation as to what is going on, as I was pretty lost throughout my whole playtime. Things like, sound effects and tooltips to tell me when I'm hitting something and what I'm able to do.

A nice idea though, glad to see someone trying to push their limits!

Charming little game, though perhaps a bit too easy. I got to the point where I could have survived forever by hopping between the trees and gaining extra time via big combos.

The art is cute, and I like the way more trees pop up in the background as you progress. Quality game!

Interesting take on the tower defence formula. I like the art style too, it's very clean.

I think we need just one more level of depth to bring this game up something great, as of now, the ideal strategy is just spam towers on every spot. Maybe we could save cards between rounds of new cards, and combine cards of the same type to make an upgraded version of that tower? Lots of possibilities available here!

Excellent game :)

Love love love this game! The art is wonderful (Desert Punk anyone?) And the mechanics are surprisingly deep. Winning is fairly easy but getting the ending you want takes some real planning, the completely deterministic nature of it means you can always make it work if you just plan far enough ahead. Great use of the theme, amazing job.

Nice little game you got here, I liked the mechanic with all the different guns gave it a feel of making some progression. The final boss fight was also a really nice surprise so great job on that!

I found myself getting hit by the scorpions quicker than I could react to them, since they moved so fast and the camera is so close, would also be nice to have a few more sound effects to give the game more meat, things like enemies dying and attacking would go a long way.

Great job!

Fun little game, provided a little challenge that I enjoyed completing. A little punishing in places, but nothing too frustrating. The timer mechanic makes adds a great twist, good job!

Nice game! The art style is cute and it generally presents itself well. I love the dirt particle effect when you shoot the ground, an excellent touch.
Also liked the variety of environments and enemies, even if it was mostly visual.
I think it would benefit from a few "game feel" tweaks an additions to bring it to the next level, things like background music, additional sound effects, and a smoother game flow, from things like being able to move while shooting.

A cracking job for a first jam game, good work!

Thank you my dude :)
