We are currently still at work to update the game and make it more easy to follow a path and reach the final goal. The freezing is still a WIP which will be something more easy to understand in a future release.

The torch was something we were unsure, and the time to test it was very poor so we sticked to the jam’s attributes; we appreciate you liked the idea and maybe we are going to decrease how much time the torch needs to be charged.

We sure are going to update the game, and thanks for the comment from me and the all team. Hope we will see you soon after the patches!

I really liked the game overall, I sure got stuck time to time by my own shadow, but an easy reset make it looks as a no issue.

I like the concept and the level are well designed to look tricky and easy to understand.

I liked the concept, but the fact that it’s no basic gameplay because I have to not play to reach the next level, it made me feel someone to much external to te world I’m in.

The fact there is a dubbed part is a boos to the audio, but after more than 5 restart it doesn’t make me in the mood to try to finish it, besides I did and the level design is more accurate than some games with high budget. I’m also comfy to say that the visuals is good to this type of game.

I hope I don’t sound harsh, but it’s potential could be more, and some tips or alternative routes(or just a level skip) would be a nice thing to look forward

Honestly I wasn’t captured at first, I didn’t know what the crazy meter was for. Tried to keep the chick always at zero health and being punished by this; I understood after a little while you also have to worry about the mother, which being the birth bath was a little too long to wait the meter to decrease.

I enjoyed the challenge of the hunters, more on the bullet side, because I would add also a damage if you collide with humans also other bird that brings away your food time to time.

A little note about the song being repeated in loop, which I would change in some scenarios to not make it feel and be repeated everytime.

I’m not satisfied on the game, but the looks and the loop of the mother to go, search food and give it to it’s baby it made me reconsider this game.

For a single person this game is a very nice and cool minigame to spend some time to play in. I can’t see much the loop influence, but besides this the game work as a rithym game is intended, I can’t see so much narrative in the story ‘cause we are doing jobs but the coffee shop will be closed no matter how much do you progress (Even if it’s the point of the game).

In conclusion, I would say this game is a nice rithym game that can have it’s minigames and ideas if it wasn’t for the time; if you look something to play while you are bored (not looking for the repeatitive levels, ‘cause, again, the time) it’s enjoyable and have a nice hand drawn graphic.

I really like this idea! A puzzle liek game is the best option to find portals in.

Despite the simple and minimalistic graphic I really had fun to play the levels. I see maybe the shortage of time to design some levels; also some levels that need to reset to be completed (also mechanic that I think it’s not even implemented)

Nice ’Ordle idea, despite the graphics and the lack of guess it is a very nice concept and game.

I admit I didn’t know some answers but I found a way to score by looking at all the asnwers

The cutest game in the jam so far. I liked the feeling.

If I can say one thing, don’t to sound rude, absoletly not, maybe keep the player near the center of the screen, ‘cause enemy appears and if you don’t react in time it’s game over.

For everything else: Good job!

Really minimal, simple. I like the visual and the effects.

It does its work and kept me entertained for a 5 to 7 minutes.

I think your recommendation will be one that of course will be implemented and improved; if you want in the youtube channel of the trailer there is a video where you can rewatch it played in it’s CRT version.

I tried the .exe it doesn’t have lag or sort of during the gameplay, I learned the timing in the browser put i felt so much different and good in the downloaded version.

Little bug I found, if you appear to frame lag the music de-sync with the button input system. I want to report also that, but the game is 100% more fluid (for me at least)

It was hard coded, it was a big challenge make this game and deliver it.

I appreciate a lot your comment, since me at first am a fun of TBS games, and as I said before me and my team want this to become something complete to play: with story and other stuff I don’t wanna spoil now.

Very nice game!

I first tried it and I really liked the style as the combat system, maybe it’s not perfect but it’s a nice snes casual game look like.

The art works all together and I spent a lot playing and trying all characters moves and combos?

This, for me, is a really nice and enjoyable game to play with friends.

I played it and completed the boss at the end of the road.

The design is really good overall, it work’s in the hambit on how the game is.

Music is also nice, I’m not a fun of the genre, but has some potential.

Maybe it’s not a game I would play, but I think it can say something.

I liked to play the game, got a bit of time to learn how to time the keys.

I think they are a little bit out of time, I will press them a little to late for the game. Maybe it’s the browser, tryed on Opera, but it’s a little nice and good game.

The music that starts playing by combos make it all, I enjoyed to play until the end when I beat the enemy.

Graphics are ok, and are very eye catching. Sure as a complete game can do a lot more

The idea at the base is very good, I liked the double face of the game where you can randomly be the part of the “green”, eco sustainable energy, or to be “gray”, someone that destroys the other part for profit.

The design is very simple and I like the choice of the cards and the other parameter to play the turn.

But… I found at the start the gameplay very confusing and the possibilities of choosing the whole hand without knowing what to do was pretty much unfortunate.

I lost and won a couple of time before learning the game, which I don’t know if it’s bad or not, but it wins for the idea

What can I say, the concept of you not being the protagonist is solved perfectly!

I enjoyed the story of the little slime who is incapable of doing anything by himself and needing someone, who can help him as the healer slime can help him too.

The RPG maker is for sure the best way to create a game like this, which gives a lot retro games vibes.

Also the graphics and the music are really simple, as a compliment, that resembles the aspect of this game which is very funny to play.

The CRT graphics it’s something I thought was sick! (and it is)

The platform is very legit, the abilities that you unlock makes the progress very straight forward with a nice level designs and drawings I liked to explore.

The game was very enjoyable, maybe the music it’s a little bit to repeatitive, but that’s only a personal opinion, I will suggest this game to friends who likes this kinda of games as the graphic (Which I want to compliment twice).

Honestly I didn’t really enjoyed it…

But I really loved the idea of combining a reversed tower defender structure with vampire survivors experience, if you upgrade the formula this can become a really good game!

The artworks are fine, and they complete each other in this draw handed game.

I played the firsts levels maybe it will become more difficult in the other ones but the difficulty is balanced, that’s a plus for me.

If there gonna be updates I will try them!

I really enjoyed playing your game, the combat system is solid as the exploration in a screen scrolling experience.

I lost my time playing this and trying to complete all the ability-dex of Karma, it’s a job done very well.

Music and environment works really good with this pixelated graphic.

I only complain that sometimes throught a location to another the screen just freeze and I need to reload.

Besides that, I think this is a good game.

We are currently still working on that, I know it’s a little bit frustrating having to say to you to wait.

Since we wanted to share the progress and insert the game in the jam before the deadline the team hopes you can understand that and for the time being, we will deliver that level as well.

Thanks for your feedback, as my teammate said we run out of time. This is a preview of what's it can be, and I your curiosity will inspire us to upgrade and took it even further.

Your idea is not as far as ours,  and it will be a nice dilemma to the player having something that blocks some actions. 

Hope you'll give it another try when we add some new gameplay features, meanwhile good luck with your work.

A very nice experience, the semplicity of the gameplay and the artstyle make it even better.

A story that unfolds itself between few words and a soundtrack that bring everything together, I enjoyed playing it and have a look at the sea god, and follow him until the end while exploring the deep sea by a simple color palette.

It was very nice, I'm so intrigueted to the story.

The flow was exciting, and I was completely merged into the story, the art is very nice and cool and fit perfectly the kinda of game/story you want to tell.

Some parts can look messy and divergent in same points, but at the end all comes together with everything you experienced before. It was a nice adventure, I really enjoyed reading it, the end is spectacular as the input of the "Imaginary friend"; nice work, for the art and the narrative part.

I would also mention the sounds, and the musics helped a lot of keeping me  locked into the screen and wanted to reach the end of the story

Hi thanks for reporting the issue, now the bug has been solved.
Some files causes the game to block itself because it can't locate the next guest that have to come in; the bug is being fixed and will be uploaded when the jam is over.

We didn't have founded this bug, for the lack of time, but the fault still is on us. I hope you will give us a second chance when the HOTFIX will be available.

Thanks for your feedback, it's very detailed and precise.
Our goal was to show off this "universe" as you wrote, and create a nice environment for the players to enjoy and learn.

Unfortunately, for the lack of time and scripting issues we didn't implement so much content as we wanted too, such as art. But reading you enjoyed it even with this put a smile on my face, and to all the team I can assure you.

To answer your question: "no there aren't choice that lead to different dialogues and scenarios, so you can say yes or no to everyone without ripercussions", but we'll be the focus to achieve that after the end of the judgement.

I liked the art and how clean it is, its smoother and the art is beatiful. The gameplay loop it's not so much interesting but in the end was a pleasure to play it for the arts

Very pleasent to play, it is very nice if you are new as a dev; keep going in this way.

There are some minors issue, like camera iper-responsive, but the game itself is very enjoyable and I want to see your progress in the 3 months metroidvania jam.

One last thing, when you change room th healthbar it fills itself, even your health is still the same.

I got some problems at the end in both browser and windows where I can't get in the boss room if I got defeated.

For the rest I didn't find so much issues, controls slippery apart (suggest to use .velocity in order to avoid slippery), I liked the music and the effects where kinda clean such as the mechanics.

I enjoyed playing it for a while, and even if the starting cutscene is fire I won't open the game any time 'cause text are too slow for me.

I want to play it in the future, so I hope it will get an update when it can

This game is very nice, I love the movement and the controls are very nice (even if for the keyboard a little bit not intuitive). The map is little and has a nice development with its checkpoints, save points and power-ups.

I had a nice time playing your game, the music is a little akward in some points, but it does its job in overall; it was a nice quest I have to say

I agree with the other comment, your design for the map was a nice world to explore and the location of the various power-up are very clean so I backtracking doesn't seems stressfull.

An improvement can be the art, it's quite simple, but it's clear so it's your choice for that.  Nothing more to say; nice map, clear commands and power-ups, but the player is kinda slow and the lack of musics and various effect don't help the game to outstand.

I got a nice 10 minute to comlete it, and after to try I just launched myself in the void in the dark area, but I had fun to play it

I really enjoyed it, it's a short game but it does its job.

An overall nice and cool game, for simple mechanics and art, with various vfx that resemble the title. The only thing I can criticize is maybe the player movement on the ground are a little bit to slippery (HTML version) and the speed boost, even if it ncessary for make progress, makes it more obvious.

We are still working on updates and features to improve, every suggestion is welcome; knowing you enjoyed it gives us even more will to improve our game.

Maybe the only thing we have to test for more time is the jump, because as you said is kinda floaty but in the same time the platforms cannot be so close to eachother, but we will figure out a way to improve also that.

Thx for the comment, I'm the team's dev. Thx for reporting me this bug... I tested it and it seems in new files it will start working after in the settings you just mute it with the buttons (in that case it will just turn it on, for the first time) .

I will do my best to resolve this issue, and there would be an updated version to be played. I don't want that to be a subject for the review of the jam, so I think it will be available after the review time, or as a separated file.

Cool concept, got stuck after the first power-up (not too much time to learn hitbox and mechanics), looking to test it better after the time finish.

Love the art and it's implementation, one issue can be the font used for the various text that are little bit complicated to understand on the first read

I read the comments and even if it's rushed the structure is quite good.

I think there wasn't so much time to test the levels and implement so many things, I got stuck in some points too and I can't restart if not only by closing the app.

The major issue is that after the health bar reach: 0 HP, the game continues with no other difficulties.

But I want to congratulate for the art style which is simple and has a very good look, if this will be ever be updated can be quite funny to play for that 5-10 minutes
