- Well designed, some early issues figuring out the controls. Didn't really understand how the constraint was applied if at all.
- I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by AFTOZOI WARS! It really nailed that SNES vibe!. The pixel art was beautifully done, and you can tell how much thought went into the detail of the characters and the world around them. The animations felt on point too, which made the whole experience feel really polished. What really stood out for me was how well the gameplay and feel fit the SNES style. The controls were easy enough to get early on, and the game had a nice pace that kept me engaged without feeling overwhelming. For a project by indie developers—this is seriously impressive. I can tell you put a lot of heart into this, and it shows! Keep up the awesome work!
- Solid entry, fun to play for awhile, and I could tell a lot of work went into making this game. The sprites are really well done, detailed and visually interesting. The intro graphics and music paired really well with the story build up. The battle map system pays nice homage to Final Fantasy Tactics and other similar games. It would be cool to see more variations/details on the maps (trees, rocks, buildings) for a future longe version. I did run into some click issues during the tutorial--it's not apparent in game how to attack an enemy. Switching browsers seemed to help (best experience in Chrome). Really nicely done overall! Thank you to the developers/creators! :)

I don't play too many SRPGs but I know that it probably took a tremendous amount of time and effort. It shows and once you get into the gameplay loop it rules! The art and music were already fantastic to boot. For the gameplay my one recommendation would be some further visual indication of what phase of the turn I'm on.
The gameplay loop itself is satisfying once you get into it and I'd recommend it to SNES fans like myself!
glad you liked it! :))
We loved you enjoyed play our game so much! And thx for the kind words.
I think your recommendation will be one that of course will be implemented and improved; if you want in the youtube channel of the trailer there is a video where you can rewatch it played in it’s CRT version.
The music is truly amazing! There's a lot of sprite overall and it’s really impressive, can’t imagine all the work that y'all had to do. I especially really love the enemy sprites and the isometric map. Additionally you put a lot of levels and in-game content and the game is really fun tu play !
We apprecciate you enjoyed playing our game.
It was a lot of work, to be honest; but I don’t wanna discuss about it because I don’t want to influence the vote.
We are planning to extend this jam and make it a proper game with story and stuff, I don’t wanna spoil now.
So please in case you like it, we hope you’ll meet us again in the finished and complete version
Thank you! Glad you liked the music! I tried to put a lot of little hints in it to add to the lore. There's a heartbeat in the more natural-sounding songs and none in the more "robotic" sounding songs (there are also some more little things if you listen closely ;)). Like my teammate said we are planning to finish this at a later date! hopefully, We'll see you there!
Glad you liked the robot and the isometric sprites! It was my first time doing sprites in that type of perspective, so it was quite tricky to draw them, especially the sprites where you see their backs.
Insane work to make it feel really historically accurate within the sprites and the details in the music, appreciated the « hard coded » feeling I had. Gameplay wise it felt pleasingly simple to make the actions, but didn’t had the interest to make combos. You have a great template to make a fresh complete game with tricky mechanics for those TBS fans :)
It was hard coded, it was a big challenge make this game and deliver it.
I appreciate a lot your comment, since me at first am a fun of TBS games, and as I said before me and my team want this to become something complete to play: with story and other stuff I don’t wanna spoil now.
Thanks for your comment and we will get better and try to make this more funny and let it tell something, me and my team hope when the time come you all will try our game again.
How do i attack?
Instructions/tutorial are in demo and in description of the game page. You click on the enemy to attack
I can't seem to get in the fourth level, quite a shame.
We are so sorry for that problem.
We are currently still working on that, I know it’s a little bit frustrating having to say to you to wait.
Since we wanted to share the progress and insert the game in the jam before the deadline the team hopes you can understand that and for the time being, we will deliver that level as well.
Hope this won’t cause any problem for you, Thx for the patience
hI Iggy! We're adding that today :) ! You'll be able to play it quite soon!
I couldn't even play, the tutoriall soft lock me once it said tutorial finished
Yeah same I restarted the game and it did the same thing but then it stopped softlocking after the 3rd attempt
So sorry! getting that fixed!
Hello, thx for the report.
I’m the main coder/programmer of the team, and I analized the problems and proceeded to fix that.
Hope now there won’t be anymore issues.
Sorry for the problems you found, hope you now can enjoy our game
