I’m glad you enjoyed the music and game design! I owe most of those aspects to my teammate who created the sick background song and also came up with the idea that it should be a game about a ship and a megalodon instead of a mechanic and a flying hydraulic press (my idea). A lot of people at the in-person competition found more joy playing with a parter, although I get that that’s way harder to coordinate in an online competition. Thanks for playing!

Really cool theme interpretation! At least in my view, the game might feel a bit nicer if the handling on the root was a bit more responsive. Other than that, I really liked how each run felt a bit different because of getting to choose upgrades. I liked the fire rate one a lot, especially because it helped deal with the boss attacks!
Instantly one of my favorite games out of this jam. Game feels intuitive, love how you can make varying decisions around what will help you in the short/long term, tons of room to be creative in how you set up around the tower due to unique properties of each block, and also, is a great interpretation of the theme. It doesn't hurt that the game is also exceptionally polished. Will definitely be coming back to this one to try and survive longer.
Enjoyed the art and audio greatly! I found wrapping around enemies to be really fun, but it felt like the score incentivized the player to disregard this mechanic, ignore the enemies, and farm pots, as you could take down the pots rather quickly with lower risk of losing score. Still enjoyed trying to become massive, although my frames dropped noticeably at over 100 score.
