Great entry, I had a ton of fun racing around! Impressive art, too! One suggestion, I would really give some vertical element to the boosts and freezers as they weren't visible at all on my side of the track sometimes, and I would see the back side and assume they'd be on my side of the track. Absolutely loved the boost and freeze sounds, haha!

Absolutely amazing entry, I'd say it's one of my top 5! Very polished, I had a lot of fun playing this. The only thing that I found missing was an undo button, or a way to retract the wires one at a time, there were a lot of instances where I didn't want to lose all my wire-placing progress because of one misclick. But even so, it was great!
I am stuck in a bullet hell of my own creation...that was some nice and juicy feedback, I had to be really careful and couldn't blast away, haha. Not sure what the 1-2-3 things on the top right corner were. Also, sometimes the enemies would damage me and sometimes just push me, so not sure what was going on there. But I enjoyed it, very interesting use of theme.
First thing, the font was very hard to read!
That being said, interesting entry! I was very, very confused during the first loop but things started making sense in the second one. I think removing the limited time mechanic would be an improvement. I was able to build the portal once, it got too expensive for me after that...a little unbalanced, but that's to be expected from a jam game. All in all, I enjoyed my time with this one.
Nice concept! I just held down the mouse button and dragged away, lol. The only gripe I had what that the loop breaks when touching an enemy and doesn't restart when I've dragged past it again unless I click again, which makes the game really hard when the screen is full of enemies. Still, very fun to hit multiple enemies at once!
I love games like these, and this is a very interesting one! I know other people have commented about the bug(that always left me disappointed) and show deck always showing all cards, but based off the idea alone this is great all around. Very impressive for 48 hours! The strategies I was trying to come up with were fun like trying to make a deck only a few elements as possible. Some RNG balancing would help a lot, for example when you get a choice of portals having them be more evenly spread across elements instead of getting 3 fire portals and 1 rock. The connection with the theme is a bit weak but that gets a pass from me, I had a blast.
Please do notify me if you do a post-jam version with fixes! Would love to play it!
Heya, yeah, that was our initial aim - to have random options to make as hilarious a dialogue as possible. We wanted to have fun with the jam and just make dumb stuff without getting too caught up in actual game design and the technicalities that come with it. The whole match-the-type for the adventurer was, to be honest, only an afterthought.
Wow, placing the pins was hard, especially how to bounce them around if you miss placing one in the path. Getting the ball to hit every pin is satisfying, but not sure if it has any effect or just makes the game go longer? Had some strange bounces happen where a wall would bounce the pin back in the reverse direction instead of reflecting. Overall, fun concept, but a bit on the frustrating side as you try to correct the misplaced pins.
Very challenging at the start, no clue what was happening, but slowly got used to it and started having fun. The only thing that felt unintuitive was clicking to dash but it happens in the direction the fish is facing and not where you click. Oh, and holding right click gave some weird results. Love the visuals, btw! My best score was 11.
