Thanks for the feedback! I didn't go into detail about the instructions about the controls because all Pico games have to the same inputs but I should have done anyway. Thanks for playing!

Cool submission! The controls were tight and the gameplay is paced well.
The numbers attached to the player flip when facing left, which confused me on the first level as I thought I was trying to get 5 frogs all of a sudden! Also getting bonked by rocks/doing some cheeky post frog collection when the menu comes up probably isn't intended. You should probably delete all items when the round ends.
Good game! Really fun concept, lovely minamilist graphics and I would have loved it a lot more if I hadn't gotten stuck:
Perhaps I'm just bad, but I hit a point where there was nothing left for me to eat and no where left for me to go. Is this supposed to be a lesson about exhausting the environment haha
Good job on the submission! I wanted to try playing this game some more but with only one life, a stubby attack and having to sit through that wall of text when the game starts I was only able to give it 2 or 3 shots. Even a quick restart rather than kicking the player out to the titlescreen when they die would be much appreciated.
POST BIRD AI EDIT: Much better! The second frog's jump is hilariously floaty, I think I just yeeted myself 4 times and I got to the end. Perhaps tone it down a tad haha.
It's not immediately clear that you walk into stairs to climb them as poison frog, so I was trying to jump them for a while and failing cause he can't go high enough.
Anyway, great submission, well done to the whole team! :)

The art is pretty, and the concept is cool but that bird ai is just an absolute dealbreaker. Set a range the bird wont follow you beyond or make a way to kill it, because it's insane atm!
Definitely the best game I've played this jam! You've definitely got yourself a full game concept here, I'd love to play a full version of this!
The controls are tight, the hitboxes are perfect, the level design is great!
Your "use" of the limitation is a little cheeky. It feels like multiple levels even though you are techinically "building" the one level. If you had had the frog zip back to the starting position and the new level pieces traverse in then it would have served to make it feel like the one room perhaps? As it stands I think it's basically 8 levels haha
Also for accessibility reasons the bg should be disable-able.
Absolutely loved it! I would definitely play a fully fleshed out version of this. Well done!
When you respawn it would be nice for the game to make it a lot more obvious where you have been put. I lost my last life because the game plopped me in the middle of a bunch of frogs and I couldn't tell who I was!
