I think it was very fun to play
cool great mechanics but wished there was some more art to show off this game
very nice game! pretty fun
Good game! Really fun concept, lovely minamilist graphics and I would have loved it a lot more if I hadn't gotten stuck:
Perhaps I'm just bad, but I hit a point where there was nothing left for me to eat and no where left for me to go. Is this supposed to be a lesson about exhausting the environment haha
Thanks for playing, and that's a fun interpretation!
It is currently beatable if you're creative about your jumps and food sources, but probably tougher than it was supposed to be.
Enjoyment: This was really fun! The mechanics are simple, but it controls well, and it's very satisfying.
Concept: It's almost a strategy game, which I love. Kind of reminds me the cell stage in Spore.
Presentation: Minimalist, so there's not much to say here, but I like how well you communicate the idea of a frog with just a green circle, a pink line, and the movement system.
Use of the Limitation: I love how your perception of the level changes as you grow. As a tiny frogling, everything is one colour, and fish are sudden, capricious death. As you get bigger, you see the shape of the lily pads, and of the whole pond. The fish become something you can understand and avoid. Brilliant.
Frogling lives on leaf
But growing eyes search for more
To understand life
the animation is super smooth and i enjoyed the minimalistic graphics!!
