Sorry I have not been responding to anything for like the past year. I sent a discord friend request. I use DC a whole lot more, sorry about the inconvenience.

That's because the game isn't released yet, a build will be completed soon. Me and another guy need to finish up the story, we are working hard.

Kinda repetitive, but a nice and short game. Easy to exploit the system after a game or two.

never even saw that! Thanks for pointing it out

I just want to thank you for this. Assuming it uses sprite sheets, those are pretty simple to make. This is a very nice tool!

So... you edit the level in the app and import it to the development software?

Does it work with GMS2?

Thanks! A better version is in the works ;)

You should try something like this but with sm64!

I wanted to do something like that, but the GMS2 version that is in development is already getting confusing with all of the variables I need to use

Beta testing would definitely be helpful! I'll let you know if I need some help. Twitch is already something I use a lot, so doing devlogs there would work great

I noticed that typo as well. Thanks for the feedback though! A fixed and more ominous version is coming soon. I'll clean up some of the questions to make more sense xD

I can do some beta tests

This game is like Titanfall 2. Well, kinda. The gameplay is not even close to T2, but what they have in common is that there is literally nothing wrong with it, it's perfect

YouTube should work pretty well. I'm entering a gamejam that starts tomorrow as well.

Thanks :)

Will do :)

It appears you don’t have a comments page, so I will suggest here. Looks like your game has to do with a lot of money, so I would recommend something like “Pay Up!”

Of course my project is only in beta, but I need some help with getting a group of people that will try out my game and leave feedback or report bugs. My question is mostly: where/how do I advertise

I am developing my game with GMS2, which has a steam community page. I am gonna show off some gameplay there of course, but I don’t know where else to do it.

You can find a GameBoy Color for a pretty good price. I got mine at Highscore Videogames for $60. You would need a flashcart to play ROMs that you create using this. You can always turn to emulators if you need to save your money.

Uhh.... that’s not a link, it’s a directory path. You will have to upload it to a site like Dropbox or Mediafire and send the URL from there.

I don’t see any reason why not. You also get analytics on how many people went to your game page, so using that is a safe assumption.

I know you already have your problem fixed, but if a game has also been released on steam, buy it off steam.

On itch you have to generate keys for any of them to work, and on steam you get it directly. You also have some of the benefits that Steam can offer you as well such as tracking how many hours you spent in-game and the Steam overlay.

I’m guessing your on Windows. If you have a firewall, that could be interfering as well. My firewall often deletes files that it deems malicious.

Try giving your PC a restart just to be safe. Microsoft Support should get you some better help too.

I used to use a Mac computer.

The old “unidentified developer” error. Open up Preferences/Settings.

Go to Security and Privacy. Closer to the bottom of the screen, it will tell you something like “[app name] was blocked from opening because it is not from an identified developer” and next to it will be a button that says “Open Anyways.” Click on it, and you’re all good. You may need to put in an administrator password, however.

Don’t understand why you can’t buy pets...

I don’t own this game on itch, but if the developers are correct then the game comes with a key to download the Steam version, which is the one that I own. You can buy pet DLCs straight off the Steam store.

I absolutely love this game. I don’t own it on itch, but I have purchased it on Steam along with a DLC pack with some pets.

I am fairly recent to itch. I joined as a developer and for Game Jams. Is there any way I can hide horror games? There are very large amounts of them on itch and I am really not interested in that.

I’ve got a weak stomach when it comes to horror. I would rather have them not show up :/
