What exactly is the issue?

It's okay, I'll review the windows build with wine (and Apple support is a pain in the ass anyway).

Mac build does not work on my mac; it simply won't open (apple chip if that helps).

Nice idea! Like a tiny, solo version of Ultimate Chicken Horse.

This is what bootlegged games should feel like.

Nice character controller :)

Wow.

Was indeed vaguely inspired by MGS on the Game Boy Color :)

A way to speed things up is all this game needs.

Good job!

(1 edit)

I think one of my workers died on the road? It'll always be remembered. Congrats on the entry!

544 points! This game would be really cool in an arcade.

This game feels really polished, congrats!

I'm gonna check it out, then!

Yeah. That attack (fireball when near the skull, I suppose) used to work fine but then I changed how another worked so that it aimed properly - but forgot to clean the flag that changed its behavior. It thus kept on missing, and I only saw this when I had a few minutes left to submit... Woops.

Anyway, thank you for playing !

Sorry... I indeed only had a few playtesters and that was during the last three hours of the jam. You are able to skip the dialogues / make them go faster with P (mentionned on the game page.)

Thank you for playing!

You can speed up  the dialogues with P; I've written it on the itch page but its not very visible ,_,

Thank you for playing!

Pressing P during dialogues speeds them up :)

It says so on the itch.io page, too (I shouldn't have put it so low tho).

Tysm!

Thank you!

I think I crashed the game? In the same level as Rogarca, too. Anyway, congratulations on this very cute game - it was a blast.

It was a bit hard at the beginning to guess what I was doing wrong (only drifted half circles ah ah), but once I grasped what was exactly the mechanic it felt very smooth and intuitive. Congratulations!

Designing your own character and having it play against other is really fun :)

Great idea! I had a scrapped idea of a score/leaderboard and it could have played really well with it - or the saved agents could have followed you trough the game... I'll keep that in mind when I continue the work on the game :D

Thank you for playing :)

Really a fan of the orbital mechanics - and the game is thighly woven on that subject, nice!

As a continuation on the game, you could maybe implement keplerian orbits detection based on position & velocity? Wikipedia has a nice article on it.

Congrats!

The music is quite good.

Congrats on the entry :)

Really nice playcontrol and the mechanic is pretty unique (and quite fun). Congrats!

3 deaths / 27 ghosts! This game made very creative usage of its main mechanic, congratulations!

This game has to be one of the best concepts of a loop-based puzzle. Keeping going with only new knownledge is really fun!

Okay, as promised, I reviewed this game too! As I was on a Mac, it was a bit painfuly slow (not going to take you points away for that; its not a game intended for Mac) and the right click didnt work, for a lack of a mouse. So I wasn't able to finish the last two levels. Even though I had this issue, I can see that the game felt very polished; grabbing the cubes was really nice and way less clunky than when I tried to design something similar.  The game idea was nice, too (the first labyrinth level in particular). A quite unique interpretation of the theme.

Good job :)

Eh; even though it may have lacked polish, the idea was super nice, played intuitively, and the fact that you could select levels without unlocking them made it so you could pick the pace at which you played trough the game, which was very cool.

Thanks for the comment! When in the game exactly is the platforming finicky? Is it a global issue? I had an issue on some computers where some platforms just didnt work.

If that's really your first game jam, then congratulations! This is an amazing take on the theme, and it's executed fairly well!

Beware of Moiré!

PEW! I love the audio! Can't really tell if the gun says POW or WOW, though. Nice job!

Reminds me of one of last year's entry. Very nice!

Somewhat similar to my entry!

I have no clues what's happening but it made me laugh.

I would never have tought of this. A nice take on the theme for sure :D

All hail scringlo.
