I asked myself the same thing, and my first thought was that the puzzle would be hard for the player to read. Those were the two most important problems with it:

  • If the player colors a square red when it should be green, how can the player see this without getting confused?
  • If the player colors a good square, how does he know he's colored a good one?

I didn't have any good ideas for how to solve these two problems, so I went with the other, safer idea. But if you have in mind something that could solve these problems, I'd love to see a picture of it

On the other hand, it gives me another idea, which is to put the color of the squares to be filled in on the edge. This would make it possible to put the final goal right on the puzzle. Thanks for making me rethink that

The art and style are perfect, but unfortunately, I find that the sound of the jumps takes us out of the universe. The gameplay is very cool, especially the dash, which is perfect. I would recommend you add humanoid enemies; with your graphic style, you'd get a nice rendering. Very good and polished game !

Thanks for your feedback, the aim was to have a mobile-compatible game. Normally this is already the case, the game can be played from a mobile phone. The first 10 levels are used for the tutorial, the others have been generated, so there's not much of a learning curve and it gets difficult very quickly.

I realize that more animations and SFX are needed to bring the game to life, you are right

I forgot to add the option to skip to the next level using the keyboard, it will be done in the next update

Thanks for the bugs, I've managed to reproduce them and will upload the fixes at the end of this game jam

Thanks for your feedback, and I totally forgot to add a key on the keyboard to move from one level to another. Maybe more animations, mechanics and SFX should be added to make it a bit more fun

Thanks for the feedback, and I understand that it may not appeal to everyone. Unfortunately, the learning curve is not the most logical, so it may also slow some people down to play it. This is due to the fact that I joined the game jam late, so I didn't have time to do more puzzles and have a more gradual curve

Thank you! I will probably add more in a few days

This is the kind of situation where the jam theme comes into its own: "Can't stop moving", but you're forced to move even if you copy the puzzle well. You're not far from completing the puzzle!

It's a nice alternative to classic tetris, but I might have made the timer destroy the lines the player has completed so that he struggles to get to the next level. Good entry !

Great entry!

The rules of the game, make the mechanics very cool. The game is well polished. You definitely have a good basis for creating multiple puzzles and adding other mechanics

I really like the game and have very little to say about it. I still must complete levels 3-2 and 3-4, but the principle of the game is superb, and solving the puzzles is a real pleasure. Do we agree that the information you get when you finish a level is the information of other players who have completed the puzzle?

I just want to recommend that you add an option to show or hide the path of a nanobot. This feature would be especially helpful for complex puzzles

Perfect entry!

Thank you !

The puzzles are really well thought-out, and I really liked the fact that you had to move around the castle rather than go through a menu to get from one level to the next. You don't need any information to understand the game. Great entry !

Thanks for your feedback !

Yes, I forgot to put the option to go to the next level with a shortcut.

The game was made for a Jam as a prototype, but it's clear that if I add some puzzles, the learning curve would be more gradual

Sorry for the bugs... maybe it's due to the Web version having some freezes... Adding obstacles or pickables would be good options to increase the difficulty and the number of possibilities thank you for your feedback !

Thank you !

Thank you !

Yeah, it's definitely an option that needs to be added

Thank you ! You are right an undo feature would be good.

Actually, I tried to take the theme into account in a very subtle way. The idea was to force the player to move even if he had completed the puzzle. As the following image shows:

The puzzle may be finished, but the game will not consider it finished because the player still has red paint in stock. So, the player is forced to move and potentially fail the puzzle. The idea was that the player could not stop moving as soon as he finished the puzzle (the main goal of the game), but only when he ran out of paint. I hope you will understand how I take the theme into account

The concept is great, but I would have liked to be able to see the whole puzzle before starting to move so that I could think before moving. Good entry!

Perfect entry! Some of the levels are extremely difficult, but they are so fun. The principle is perfect, the audio and visuals are well polished, and the several music tracks for each level are good! Maybe adding an option to change the speed a little bit would be nice

Thank you !

Thanks, which one was your favorite ?

Thank you !

Thank you ! Yeah, some levels are difficult, but you can always skip them and come back to them after. Which one took you the longest to solve?

The principle is pretty cool, but I feel like there's one big aspect missing. Unfortunately, we can't lose, so we don't really have a challenge... The audio is very cool and matches the game so well

The concept is great, the mechanics are superb. The game is well polished even the menu is cool ! I would probably recommend you to have a more visible animation when a tunnel changes place. Very good entry !

Hey, I saw on Discord that you can use assets, if you have the owner rights to use.

Nice entry ! The art and audio are polished

Thanks, you're totally right I forgot to add a shortcut

The concept is really cool, I had a bit of trouble getting used to the mechanics, but after a few tries it's great. I would recommend to add a limit of usage for the slow time like it is done with the brush to add more difficulties. Very nice entry !

Good entry ! The red one follows you, the blue one cut the field in half, it's cool to have this because it gives you the chance to create new types of enemy with several behaviours depending on their colour. The music and the menu are very polished

The game is fun and the transitions are cool, the music match well and the difference in volume when we are in the air or on the ground is well thought out. I would have liked to have an indicator of the position of the entities that are slowing us down. The HUD is sometimes hard to read because of the changing transitions an outline may be help. But it's a great entry !

The entry is just perfect, the theme is respected, the object is very well used and the mechanic is super cool once you get used to it

The gameplay is fun, the style is great, the concept fits perfectly with the theme. The only small downside is that there's no spawn delay at the start of the game, this sometimes means losing the game almost instantly... But it's great entry !

Thank you. Actually, I randomly generated and tested all of them, then I kept those that were interesting. However, the puzzles for the tutorial are made by hand

Thanks

Great entry ! The game is well addictive. The game is well polished you even add a small recoil when you shoot

Cool game, the music is chill, the sfx is funny, the animation of the paper when you stamp is well done. I would suggest to add more audio or visual feedback if the person stamps well or missed a target, otherwise is a great entry!

The game is well polished ! Alternate between clicks and mouse drags is a nice idea

Great entry ! I love the mechanism of copying the enemies' shoot style. Even the menu is well thought out  and unique ! I would probably just suggest to add a visual feedback on the duration of the ability when a power is copied

The mechanics are very nice, it offers the possibility to throw the shuriken and then put the shadow where the shuriken is so you can instant teleport ! I find also the game well balanced
