Hey thanks for the review!!! I learn a lot from comments like these and I really appreciate it. This game actually came first, then I made "Don't Run" right after. Although the events happen in about the same time. I realized that I don't really excel in third person so I switched to first person instead :) Cheers, man!

Awesome!!! Thank you for playing my game :D

Duuuude, this made my day!!! Thank you for playing my game and making that art!!! I appreciate it :D

You should take notes on this page layout https://finji.itch.io/overland The colours, font style, font size, banner size, screenshots, are so pleasant to look at.

That's exactly what I'm doing right now lol (made in blender + unreal by the way).  I can send you an fbx of the mesh only. My rig is not at a professional level so I won't include it. Would be nice if I get a credit. What's your email tho?

Thanks for playing the game and giving your feedback! I appreciate your time! In the ever so slightest chance that you would play it again, try to get the lurkers stuck between the seats behind you :p Cheers, man!

I used Blender's Monkey as a placeholder mesh and it made development much more interesting. What do you think?

Once I have more proper enemy meshes, sound fx and background music, I'll release a demo for sure.

Broke my keyboard while trying to beat lvl 7. 10/10 would rage quit again

Hey Panda Bum, thank you for playing my game! It makes me glad that you enjoyed it!!! Cheers

I'm interested in seeing a gif or a video of it actually works :D

Hey cool little game! I like Bob the blob :p I could never kill the skull boss cos I suck.

I do have a feedback but it's more about your game page rather than the game itself. The texts are really hard to read because of that blocky font on top of that gameplay background.  That is very important because players who would want to read some info about your game might not even read it because it's hard to read.

- What if SuperHot and Doom had a baby, but the real father is actually Devil Daggers? -

Hey! I'm working on a fast paced shooter at the moment inspired by the games I mentioned above. As a solo dev, this will be a big challenge for me.

Superhot: because I love it's minimalistic approach with the character and environmental designs.
Doom: because slaying demons is much more intense with heavy metal music blasting in the background. I have knowledge in music composition so I'll be making my own soundtrack for this later on too.
Devil Daggers:  I just love the boss-rush-endless-survival-time-attack theme that it has, and it's actually really spooky.

I managed to complete about 25% of the weapon mechanics for now and will add more later. I just need more time since doing the animations and 3D modeling is quite hard for me. It's only been 3 days so a lot will change in the next coming weeks.

I remade the lighting and the landscape mesh so it's lighter on the performance side. Also, the sky effect is from UE4 marketplace by Velarion :)

Hey my name's Justin and I'm from Vancouver, Canada. I recently started making games and currently have 2 survival horror games released on my page! I'm also developing a hack n slash type game similar to Devil May Cry and other similar titles that I enjoyed playing in the past.

I also write heavy metal music (eg. prog metal, djent, thrash). If anyone needs a metal soundtrack, hit me up!

Just found out about this game just now. Oh man love this game! The visuals are amazing especially the intro sequence where the aspect ratio changes into a cinematic look. The ghost samurai boss looks pretty badass too.

One thing if I may add, the cross hair doesn't stand out too much against the background, or at least in the boss area and combat build. There were moments when I wasn't sure where I was aiming even with the Rose's hand pointing in that direction.

Hey Posyden, thanks for playing the game!!! I appreciate all the feedback, and I will definitely keep them in mind so the next game I make will be a much better experience :D

Side note: the end is actually an easter egg from the first game made called "Invis", which is the sequel to this game. You can check it out on my page as well ;)

Hi, thanks for playing the game! Trying to not spoil here XD... but they don't run as fast as you do so they can't catch you. Unless if you run forward then get stuck on the wall and become untouchable?

Hi Adrionic, thanks for taking the time to play my game!!! I totally agree with the points that you mentioned that could've been improved. The main idea I had was to make a maze-runner type kindda game where you find a key in a giant maze to escape. This was for a game jam so I only had a couple of days to build everything from scratch. I wish I had more time cos I was definitely going to add more cool mechanics. Thank you for the feedback, and I will surely keep everything in mind so my next project will be a much better experience :D

Thank you for playing my game! If ever in the slightest chance that you decide to play it again, there's a guy with a note/tip in the same area where you first meet the creeps :)

That was entertaining to watch! I appreciate your time and effort in including my game in your video. :)

Hey thank you for the kind words! Your gameplay was fun to watch and I can say that your strategy at 11:00 - 11:12 was pretty solid. So close to the end!!! Also, keep an eye for an easter egg when you get there.

Thank you for the feedback!!! I will keep this in mind so I can improve on my next survival horror project. I appreciate your time :D

Side note: The ending is actually an easter egg from the first game that I made "Invis" ("Don't Run" being the second).

Okaayyy maybe not DMC, but I wanted to make a small hack n slash game but not as frustrating or complex.

So basically the main character has an ability to transform into Shadow Mode, kindda like Dante's Devil Trigger. In this Shadow Mode, the player has enhanced attacks as well as can either summon a strong shadow clone, summon self targeting blades, or transform into much stronger shadow being. (the last 2 not shown in the video yet)

When i was brainstorming for an idea, I came across this game called Hollow Knight. It looks very aesthetically stunning and the gameplay looks fun but not stressfull. Also there's this game called Hob; such an amazing game and beautiful, vague story. Actually there were so many games that I got inspired by that it'll take few pararaphs to name them all.

Right now I'm just taking my time studying game design, character design, sound design and other aspects to build this game up. My question is...WHAT SHOULD I NAME THIS GAME?

...or is it too early to give it a name since it's not even half way done yet. Let me know!

Beware: Lots of spooks

Will you be using these assets for the final production?

Oh man that was such an intense gameplay! I died laughing a couple of times XD
Thank you for playing!!

Thank you for letting me know!! That is a bug and I will fix it as soon as I can! I appreciate your time :)

Edit: I fixed it in the 1.3 version! :D

Here's my newest release! I hope you like the spooks! :D

Thanks for playing! I'd like to ask, did the game run smoothly on your computer? In the video it seemed like it was below 20fps. I'm not sure if my game was heavy on your end, or maybe from your video capture device, or youtube compression? . If it was from my game, please let me know so I could fix it! :D

Here's one that I made recently for a game jam! Beware: Spooks ahead!

Hey I see you again!!! Thanks for playing! I was able to spot some small bugs while watching your gameplay. Don't worry, I squashed those bugs already. And yes you currently hold the world record right now :P

Hi guys! Please let me know if you encountered any bugs, or any feedback. This is the second game that I ever built, the first one being "INVIS". There may be bugs that I haven't encountered yet, so let me know! I'll fix them as soon as I can. :)

*I put a cool little easter egg somewhere if you've played INVIS. If you haven't yet, you can play it after DON'T RUN.    ;)

Oh man thanks a lot, I appreciate the feedback!!!  I'm sorry you had to go through all those monstrosities :P I'm currently working on a side story of this game for a weekly game jam due next week. I hope you stay tuned :D

Thank you for playing the game and uploading a playthrough!!! I appreciate it a lot.

Thanks for the feedback! Will totally expand on this concept and polish the existing mechanics. Unfortunately I only had a week to create this game (animations, meshes, mechanics, lighting, and such). It's the first game that I ever made because I don't have any prior game dev experience. I'll study hard and make more games. Cheers! :)

Thanks for the feedback! Will keep this in mind for my next project! :)

Hi guys! Please let me know if you encountered any bugs, or any feedback. This is the very first game that I built even though I have no prior game development experience before, so there may be bugs that I haven't encountered. I'll be updating in a few days.
