Cute retro game.
Beautiful pixel art, but pay attention to contrast: the enemy's color (only the mouse) are too much similar with scenario, which makes it a bit complicated to see sometimes. Change the mouse's color to purple (from palette) with a white outline should work.
The gameplay really catch that older games feeling, maybe a little too much: The wall sticking movement need some polish. Maybe make it automatic when pressing the move key in the direction of the wall would be a better configuration. (Canceling pressing 'down' or 's' )
Overall it was a good platform. Congrats!
I'm absolutely impressed! That's definitely the best game I've played in the Jam!
The pixel art and music were awesome and the mechanics were nicely polish! Good job!
I managed to get into the top 5 of the leaderboard🤩. By the way, this rank was a nice way to keep the players on your game.
Really a great entry! I was happy to be able to play your game before the Jam ends.

When I saw "hard" on the title I gota little scared, but the game it's actually quite easy considering other submissions on the jam, mainly because the very responsive controls. Good work.
The puzzles were good, at least until I reach the infamous level 8 (unfortunately, I couldn't beat it).
Finally, nice work with pixel art.
Simple but competent pixel art.
The same cannot be said about gameplay: the game's physics is badly adjusted. I really like challenging platforms, but yours take away the players's freedom when prevents controlling speed when we jump. This makes the character movements uncomfortable and spoils the player's fun. There are smarter ways to make a difficult but fun game.
In addiction, some sections prevents our progress with some weird "invisible walls" and the player's speed need some polish.
An positive point was the wall jump: remember me "Super Metroid" on snes, which is hard but pleasant to master.
Cute game. Beautiful pixel art and relaxing music.
Placing fence seems not intuitive and need some tuning since it's much easier to trap yourself instead of cats. It's possible to escape using the dash but the game don't tell us this useful information and I kept stuck for a long time.
Overall, it was a good job and I really liked the way you used the palette.
Pretty challenging platform, huh?
The simplistic pixel art is pleasant and the background music is relaxing which is good considering the game's difficulty. The map is big and each room is memorable.
Unfortunately i couldn't finish the game 😿. I got stuck in this room. The big problem was that the spikes inflicts damage even in his not pointed side, which made sections where the path is very narrow almost impossible to get through.
Overall, was a great job!

Extremely polish game, nice work!
The pixel art looks amazing and the animations are so fluid! Really love it!
The music gave a special atmosphere to the game, and remember me a lot some nes games like Castlevania, so it was a happy choice.
Talking about gameplay, the player characters moves a bit too fast, which is great to quickly chase the curses, but it makes it hard to dodge his attacks. I think some balance should be considerate. Moreover, I think there should be some way to distinguish the curses without having to wait for the attack to come.
Overall, I really enjoyed your work
PS: Good to see another Löve2D user in the Jam 😊
Nice minimalist pixel art.
Took me some time to realize that the boxes on the ground kill us even if we stomp on them. Replace it with spikes would be a nice danger indicator. Also, putting something to warn the players that the shot is coming would help to avoid some unfair situations.
PS: Loved the narrator voice (it's yours?). Very dramatic haha
Overall, nice job
Very polish game!
Cute and nice pixel art. Loved the explosions and the snow particles.
The physics were a bit "floating" in the beginning, but the game give us the option to improve it when level up. Very cool. I felt the player's hit boxes a little strange: sometimes I could swear that I correctly stepped on the enemy but the game gives me damage (adding a hit stop when damaged helps the player know whats hit them).
Overall, really a great entry and very fun game! Congrats
Wow, really a great game, good job!
The pixel art was amazing and I wished the sprites weren't too small in the screen to better appreciate them. The music was good at the first minutes but became very annoying if listen too much.
Very nice use of the theme and the limitation. All in the game remember cats: the black cats as enemy, the water inflicting damage, the cats been distracted by the ducks and many others aspects.
I was a little scared with the amount of rules right on the start screen but the game turned out to be very intuitive.
Good entry! Congrats!
Not very innovative but it does its job well. The simplistic pixel art were beautiful and pleasant but you could take a less annoying background music and explore more the the theme "cats", for example, making the goal point something that we associate with cats, like a milk bowl, or a fish, etc.
Another point is the physics were poorly adjusted: the speed and the mass of the player were too high, turning the player much faster and heavy than it should.
Cute game :-)
Really like the pixel art and the music and I caught myself wishing for more levels.
Some aspects were a bit confusing: the game teach us in the start to interact with things with 'e' key but to get items on the ground is needed click on them. It took me a while to figure out how to get the key, for example. Another point is that sometimes is not so obvious where use the collected items (the hammer, for example. The tip tell us to use in a house, but which house? Adding a cracking in the house's wall would be an interesting help) and the dark house were too dark which made it very difficult to see anything.
But overall I had a lot of fun with the game and managed to finish it. Nice Job!
Wow I really loved this one! The minigames were creative. Nicely use of the theme. Beautiful pixel art and fun music.
The only negative points are that some minigame tips disappear very quickly, not letting me read them. Luckily, they weren't really necessary since most of the minigames are pretty intuitive. Also, I had the impression that the precision of the minigames to defeat the cockroaches is not so accurate and some minigames would be more interesting using the keyboard keys (like the minigame of pushing the object on the table).
Great entry! And Good job!
PS: My hi-score was 27450
Great visual, and interesting concept but the physics were a bit tricky to handle (I don't even know if I managed to master it).
Overall, it was an incredibly polished game both in terms of sound and graphics (thanks for the option to turn off the particles)
Suggestion: make the aim's color a little brighter to better contrast with the background
Really impressive, your game has a big map considering the jam's deadline. I was able to brew the elixir of life but I missed some in-game instructions (I often returned to the game page to get any tips).
An improvement would be add a popup screen indicating that the potion we made gave us a new ability. I played collecting all the ingredients and only then, trying to brew the potion. Therefore, I didn't realize that I already had the ability to walk on water and I lost a lot of time running the map not knowing what to do :-(
But that didn't spoil the fun (the page sound when clicking the UI was a pleasant detail). Good job
Great concept. I think the game would be more enjoyable if the screen size wasn't so tiny, making the game finish so quickly. (Note: took me a while to realize i could restart the game pressing space)
One question: how the score are calculated? It doesn't immediately increase when I connect the emojis...
My hi score was 1400

Simple but incredibly effective 3D graphics with Löve.
At first, i didn't realize we could go to others areas and the player moves a bit slow. Unfortunately, only the compass was not enough to avoid me to get lost (adding a mini-map would be helpful) and I couldn't finish the game :-(
PS: I Loved the 'Metroid Prime' feeling of the game
