I think something went terribly wrong with the physics of your game: bugs everywhere! when jump, when touches a wall; I died just for touch a wall in some areas...

The jump itself is odd: I cant pass the first hole without using the coyote jump and the player falls very fast (are you not using delta time?? Maybe this did the game run different for me once it reach only 60 fps instead of 130 that I see on your screenshots). The dash suffers from the same problem. It feels too strong.

About the graphics: nice work! I loved that you put a blur into the background. The parallax works very well, too.

I see that you did the code, art AND the music and I really appreciate the result! Good Job! Being myself a solo dev, I know the immense amount of dedication/effort this requires.

Overall a good game.

Hi, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately I realised a bug in the dash deltatime implementation after the jam submission end - and I’m not sure if I am allowed to submit fixes after the fact. I have added a gif showing the intended movement. At 60 fps it does feel rather bad to play at the moment :-) Glad you liked the graphics!

the presentation is great , but the controls are not intuitive, really cute graphics tho!

I may have messed up a thing or two in terms of game feel (although this is my best shot at precision platforming to date). Glad you liked the graphics - I particularly focused on the visual aspect in this game :-)

nice game, but a little ot hard for me controls wise

Developer

It is meant to be hard, but tries to teach through the platform puzzles - I guess a better tutorial area wouldn’t hurt though! Thanks for playing :)
