I brute-forced learning this game which actually ended up being a satisfying experience all on its own when I finally figured out enough of it to win.  Then I thought to check your itch page and saw how many additional mechanics I'd missed, lol.  Definitely fun!

It was so hard to put this down when I saw there was a scoreboard! A random detail I really liked was the pathogens where you had to shoot the correct one to slow the advance - a simple but clever action "puzzle".  Nice work :)

I love the idea of jumping from the ground, rocketing only in the air. I'm so annoyed that I didn't think of that - it would have completely solved that problem with the boss.

Thanks for your feedback!

As others have said, super impressed by the number of puzzles.  I got totally sucked into this one.  Art and music are on point, too.  Great game.

This was fun! I was very bad at it, but I enjoyed all of my attempts.  I like that the different weapons really gave you different strategies to use.

This was very cool - love all of the aesthetics here.

This is great! I like how there are opportunities to use the hazards to advance - seems potentially pretty deep! I also really enjoyed the music/sound - particularly the "d'oh"s as your fellows get hit.

This is rad!  I hope you elaborate on how it was made somewhere - curious about the implementation of the genetic simulation / evolution, and the inspiration for using that approach.

Thanks, Dan!  Yeah, I made some last-minute balance changes to the boss and I may have overdone it.  I was worried about it being a pretty unfair fight - you're kind of just stuck tanking the slaps because I didn't add enough windup frames and the player character is too slow for you to react.  But there's also some RNG to his move choices, so if he doesn't slap much, you will just annihilate him.    Last thing was I forgot to make the slime meter persist between levels, so as it stands, you can pretty much just tank the game :P

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Loved the intro!  And I liked that the car physics were a little wonky, and as a result using the crane arm essentially became part of the movement - really enjoyed trying to coordinate driving and manipulating the crane arm at the same time (I was NOT good at it).

I think I may have bugged out the barrels? I got as far as trying to use one to push the button on the wall, but each time I picked one up they vanished - perhaps I got them below the level when I flipped the car or something?   The crane hook was still green.

Anyways, very cool, had fun with it!

The Celeste-esque sequence at 60m is fine-tuned evil.  Loved the music/sound, which really complemented the experience (I think it kept me going a lot longer than I would have made it otherwise).

Lol, "You have rabies." as an opening line goes so hard.

Loved this.
