Oh, good call - the trees were a last minute addition and I didn't think about what all of them might do to other graphics cards or iGPUs.

Not sure, if this (and the inverted VSync Button) qualify as severe enough bugs, so I probably won't fix this during the voting period - for now I can only suggest reducing the rendering scale in the settings, sorry!

Thanks for trying though, and I'm happy you like the concept :)

I had my doubts towards the end, but I actually managed to submit my second ever own game to the GameDev.tv Halloween Jam:

There's still a lot to learn, but I'm pretty happy about how it turned out anyway.

Always happy about nice comments and constructive criticism :)

So glad a genre buddy can approve, thank you :)

Thank you :)

So happy to hear, thank you! I'm certain you can figure out what the other plants need in order to grow!

Glad you liked it, thanks a bunch :)

I'm happy you liked it, thank you!

Thank you, happy to hear :)

I see what you mean, certainly something to keep in mind for the future! Glad you liked the idea!

Really enjoyed it, made me quite nostalgic for the city builder and survival games I played as a kid on our old Win98 PC.

Cool game, quite enjoyed it, even though the lags caused 1, 2 deaths for me - but nothing too bad. Good job!

Pretty tough to control, but that's kind of part of the fun - overall a nice submission!

Cool retro-y pixel graphics, pretty fun, and the music got a good wide grin out of me :D

Cool game, and really interesting reference and spin with those Gullivers - now I want some chicken nuggets, though ;)

A really fun and surprisingly addictive game, even with the glitches in the Web-Version I found myself reloading multiple times for "just one more level" (it wasn't just one more level)

So happy you enjoyed it! And Toby surely approves of huge cactus farms ;)

Happy to hear, thank you :)

Thanks a lot :)

Really nice chill game, feel nicely relaxed after playing this.

Great job, I really liked it.  For some reason I had to think of Cry of Fear while playing, even though it's something completely different - but in a good way! I feel like there is much left untold, so I'd be really interested in a continuation/expansion.

Great atmosphere and look, especially the music really made me tense up!

My entry for the GameDev.tv Game Jam 2025 is finally finished:

It's just a small game, and I had to scrap many of my initial ideas, but nevertheless I'm rather happy with how it turned out - as for several others it's both my first game jam and my first game (aside from courses) and I certainly learned a lot!
