I hope you enjoy it!  If you're looking for more down the road, the second book delivers more mazes and locations and a little story.

If you have some pre-generated characters ready to go, you could definitely get it in an hour.  There's only 1 combat encounter.  If the players fight the kobolds, you skip the wolves.  If they role played out of combat with kobolds, toss in the wolf attack.  

If you run it as a school workshop, be sure to come back here and let me know how it went, I think this is a great tool for something like that.

Oh!  Thanks for letting us know!  You only need to press CTRL once to enter the mode, not hold it down or press key combos but we didn’t make that clear enough the instructions and I did not know about the Firefox combo! 😅

No worries, glad to help!  Yes, you can backtrack, in fact it's probably required in harder difficulties when you have to go around finding keys and going back to earlier areas.  

A publisher to put it on bookshelves would be awesome.  I wonder how people find book publishers for stuff like this...

The only downside to Amazon print-on-demand is the same as Steam... they won't pay out until you get $100 USD in royalties and they take 40% plus the cost of printing so you only make a couple dollars per book...

You could always get another!  Never early to xmas shop for friends and family! 😏

Hi, you still earn them by surviving as long as possible.  The first few runs won't get you very far until you get some upgrades.

Hi there!  Holding the spacebar replaces holding the mouse button down but you still need to use the mouse to move along the path from the beginning point to the end.

Hi!  I try to include as much accessibility as possible, and I will try to do something about motion sickness.  That said, I don't know anything about motion sickness or what can be done to reduce it yet, but I'll try researching it and see what other games do to reduce motion sickness.

What kind of motions make you sick, is it "little shakes" or big fast swings of the camera?

Also, thanks for the visual bug report, I'll add that to my list to fix!

Thanks very much!  There are a couple of special shaders and they do things like make the armour and rings appear / disappear in a fancy way.  Other things in there that add to the style are volumetric lighting (fog and haze) along with some post processing effects like bloom (extra shiny lighting effects) and in the camera / screenshot mode you can add blurr and depth effects.

I'm Gordon Little, a guy from Canada who's been using Itch.io since 2014ish when I made my first full game in Construct 2 called Spell Casting and later made Starfighter: R&D.  

I've recently moved into the third dimension and am currently making Ayre and the Crystal Comet.  It's an open world adventure where you can go anywhere you want from the beginning and explore 64 square kilometers of valleys, rivers, mountains and forests.

I mostly want to make games that are fun, mostly non-violent, and something I'd be proud to show off to my kids.

Hey there!  I need to add some more notes about controls but you can press ESC and get the menu book?  You can press a / d to flip pages.  On the second page is aome options (like  volume) and quit buttons.

Full controller support is coming!  One of the tools I needed to buy was an input manager so players can remap controls on the fly and use any type of controllers.

I don’t think I’ll be changing the need for timers.  I might add difficulty levels So the CHILL one has super long timers.

I installed the itch downloader app and installed it from there and it ran.  Originally I downloaded the exe straight from the store page.
