Demo #4: Wings of Starlight

I went full Eric Whitacre with this one. Hard to tell at times but this is entirely choir from Spitfire Audio’s LABS Eric Whitacre library. Basic editing, sound design and mixing were done.

Great for game cut-scenes, atmospheric intros, or a peaceful credit roll!

Hey Pitch Black!

Binaural audio is a fantastic element to put into games. I'm still learning about it myself and researching plugins/production techniques to create binaural sound design elements. Unfortunately the mic to record that type of signal is $600...one day.

Anyways, I'll keep my eye on this thread and will post anything I find to help answer this question and any other useful information anyone else may be looking for.

If anyone out there is more experienced than we are please help us out! :)

~Sean

Sounds good! If anything, the instrument playing on "and-two, and-four" sounds static when layered in the climax of the song. Could just be the sample used.

It helps if you subdivide it, one-and-two-and-three-and-four. The trick is that the backing is playing on "and-two, and-four" giving a waltz feel underneath a 4/4 meter.
