Appreciate it!  And yeah, when I tried it I instantly knew I had to keep it in haha! Thanks for playing :D

Very sweet comment! Glad you had fun :) Thanks for playing!

Glad you had fun!! Thanks for playing :D

Thanks!!!

hahah that is so sweet, I super appreciate it! Glad you like it :D

I believe in you!!

Glad you had fun :D Thanks for playing!!

Haha it was in by default but originally the entire movement was snake based (think Getting over it) and the extension and retraction was two buttons!

the jump from extending into the ground is the only thing I ended up keeping lol! Thanks so much for playing!!

You can jump by looking into the ground and extending yourself :D Thanks for playing!

This is an absurdly good concept, I love this!
The music and art are also fantastic, I ditto the comment below. I would love to see this expanded and put on Steam

Aww thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed playing!

"YOUR TURN" hahaha no thanks!

Very fun and scary, such a great concept to use the 2D game as a medium to inform about the monsters. Also great work on the monsters, they are terrifying!

That second phase on the boss is crazy hahahah
Very cute game and a great concept for the retro theme. I do find the fuel runs out a bit quick tho😅

Awesome stuff!

Exactly! The knockback is so satisfying its hard not to use ;)

Ditto the comment below! A very cool concept but it really needs something in game to help you with the controls I am struggling 😭

(Although I did find I could press 'asd' quite fast and cheekily get some hits in! 😉)
Would love to see this polished up though :D Great stuff!

Haha yeah its a bit tricky😅 Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for playing!!

hahahahaa this awesome, I wish it was longer!

Character design, art and music are amazing!

I will also like to announce that the heavy attack meta is also strong (and what let me beat it)

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I can't figure out how to get to the second platform hahaha, its like I don't have enough speed to make it after hooking the vertical wall on the left. Would love to give it another shot if there is something im doing wrong (or maybe a skill issue haha)

The idea of a foddian-like (if that is what this is going for) with a hookshot is a super cool concept!

Thanks a bunch for playing :D

Obsessed with the music and art on this, super duper well done!

Ditto what others have said with the gameplay being a being a bit hard to understand off the bat. It eventually clicked though and the management is quite fun!

Great stuff :D

Super fun, awesome entry!

Minor nitpick is that I would love to have the items descriptions in game (I know I can scroll down..) (maybe something I missed?)

Nitpick aside the game is fun and the the art is friggin awesome!. Great job!

REALLY COOL and FUN!!! The 2d skater art style is also super dope, great job!

Few issues I've noticed:

1. Music seems to just stop.. (as far as I can tell, see issue number 2)

2. Seems like there might be some weirdness going on with the options menu, like I can only rebind certain controls (and can't adjust the volume anymore.)

Really fun and cool game! I love the art! The whole page is beautiful!!

That intro was super cool haha! Game is a great time killer and very fun! (Only downside is your score not properly resetting it seems :( ).

ALSO kudos to the artist, super well done and the menu was super clever!

Super cool! I think there is really something to that frequency system. It's a fresh idea on how to do 'catching' without just % chance. Great stuff!

Thanks for playing! If you look down and extend you can jump!

Wow, absolutely love the art in this. It really has some great charm!!

Like the comment below I also did have some issues with controls idk how long I used the fan for LOL. Although , once I figured out that though everything clicked and it was great fun. Super original and cool concept.

Awesome work!!

<333 THANKS!!!!

haha super appreciate the compliments and feedback Sat_Less!

100% agreed that we might have missed the mark a bit with difficulty a bit on this. Since it was our first project we sort of aimed for around what we are comfortable with. This turned out to be a learning lesson this jam though since obviously we would be much more used to it. :(

Thanks for taking the time to play!! <3

Hey! Really appreciate the feedback.

We've heard this from a few people so far. Our intention wasn't to make it too hard so its disappointing to see we missed the mark a bit there.
Definitely are going to try and scale difficulty a bit better in future projects. Thanks for giving it a shot!

Thanks so much!! <3

Hey Octartis, really appreciate the kind words!

That's too bad about your FPS - We have noticed that is the case for a few folks. Going forward we definitely look to make performance more of a priority in our future projects!

Thanks again for playing :)

hahah I would of loved to have it too. Thanks so much for playing and the kind words frozenfist123!!

We might sneak some in when we update post-jam ;)

Wow.. super super nice comment! Thank you so much! <3

thanks!!! we are quite happy with what we were able to pull together - it was definitely a stressful time but a fun one! (Definitely going to be doing more and starting earlier next time LOL)

It's funny, the idea of having different minigames was actually intended to be included but it had to be scrapped for sake of time.

These are some great ideas though which I will definitely be adding to our idea document, super grateful for your feedback. You seem to have a good eye for mechanic design!

Aw, thanks so much for playing, woona!

it was actually everyone on our teams first time ever time making a "full game" so to speak. (Besides one of us doing some modding work) So I really appreciate the kind words.

Agreed on the gameplay. I know it generic to say in a game jam, but I definitely wish we had more time to give it a bit more substance - starting 4 days late didn't help 😭.

I think we might look to expand it a bit after the jam, so I would love to hear your thoughts then :)

Thank you so much for playing and leaving your feedback, it means a lot. I hope you have a great rest of your day!

Hey sorry for not replying to the comment, for some reason I thought I did but I guess I didn't lol :(

Thanks so much for the kind words.

It's funny you say that because we ended up actually tuning the difficultly down significantly right before release but obviously not enough :(( we also had a bug within the first 4 hours of release that made the game basically impossible as well - not sure when you downloaded )

Overall though I really appreciate the feedback and wanna say thank you so much for giving the game a shot and playing - I hope you have a wonderful day! :)

Aw thanks!

I agree 100%, like I mentioned in the below comment we started this jam quite late so time was a big issue. I think if we are to update this after the jam we would 100% focus on getting in more horror elements. It really was the direction we were trying to push the project but in the end a lot of the cool ideas had to get scrapped :(

I really appreciate you taking the time to give the game a shot and leave feedback though - means a lot <3

Appreciate the kind words - means a lot!

Yeah I agree with you as well :( We only ended up really starting this Jam on Tuesday so time was quite the issue.
If I had the time back I definitely would have tried to get something more fulfilling in.

Thanks so much for playing though :)

Great reactions! Thx for playing!
