You're fine 😁

Thank you for sharing and thank you for participating. Can't wait to read yours 😁

There is no deadline for participating in the broader ZineMonth event though, to be clear. Just need to fund sometime in February.

Consider participating in ZineMonth! You can clean up and crowdfund/slowfund/just fund your puzzle dungeon. I'm on the zimo discord along with others if you have questions. Doesn't need to be a physical zine print, but that's always fun!

If you want to use bakerkit to crowdfund, their branded collab event in February (part of zine month) is called Zinetopia. Deadline for submitting projects to zinetopia is December 19. You don't need much. Let me know if you apply and I can give you a reference.

Not sure what you mean by "raw assets." The stuff linked in the resources section is optional. I'll take a plain pdf with default styling if that's what you've got.

I'd be happy to take a look and give feedback. I don't think I specified the entry needed to be worked on exclusively within the time constraints of the jam.
Even if it's not a puzzle dungeon and you don't submit to the jam, you can hit me up and I'll still take a look. I'm on discord with the name you'd expect. 🍻

Of course! Can't wait to see it.

Thread for links to submission feedback vods and streams and discussion of it.

First up: Sven Ghouli's Crypt by Revivify Games

After reading this I've occasionally been just blurting out "SVEN GHOULI!" in my best cheesy dracula voice. They seem like a very fun NPC to run.

I'm excited for Monday. I'm in the puzzle-dungeon-jam channel sharing some links to stuff folks have been working on a bit early 😁

Oooo. I could totally see your skills being useful for a tabletop adventure puzzle dungeon with a sound theme! Can't wait to see what you come up with. 😁

Thank you! Jack Vance wasn't a direct inspiration for this one, but it probably was indirectly. Full list of inspo:

Reefer madness (1936), drugsploitation film

Reefer madness the musical (2005), movie musical

D.A.R.E, (1983-present!?), anti drug campaign

Infinity Train (2019-2021), TV series (RIP)

Yup! I love mini maps with links. No room in my 16 pages though 😭. They'll be in the version released after the post-jam period.

I do fantasize about working with musician "Loot the Body" sometimes. 😁 One day...

And yes, I did do the old deep dive bumper for B2C. Replaced now, but the new one is certainly catchy by Bobby McElver. 🎶

Laid out well. I could pick this up and run it on the fly, no problem. Nice work.

The architecture is very cool. Lots of ways to get around. Would love to see more done with the transformation theme. Certain areas that require mutations to navigate maybe. Scavenger hunt hook is a good one and will get players excited exploring with they realize they've found what they are looking for. Good stuff.

Characters really feel alive. Wish I had some example insults for the Jester. I'd fail that challenge immediately. Also, I want that obsidian shovel.

Looks like a fun place to explore.

High strangeness and very fun art. Feels like a Saturday morning cartoon.

Colorful in more ways than one! Unique formatting and fun concept for an evening of play. The style takes a bit of getting used to but I think that's part of the charm. I'd run this in keeping with the theme: stream of consciousness and being open to changing things on the fly. Thanks for this.

The floating mirror and the talking chest are amazing! Great situations for memorable play. Good foreshadowing of traps. This would be a fun romp for my group.

Impressive art. A joy to peruse. Got a good chuckle from the decapitation trap. Heh. And I'm stealing that pirate loot table.

I'm a big fan of the A5 trifold format from mausritter. Information presentation makes a lot of sense here. Using a print version of this at the table would be a breeze for a quick pick up game. Solid keys in here too.

I was completely surprised that this was AI art. That scares me a bit, but so does the idea of a Lich's underworld of corporate hell so I guess it's on brand. I'm curious how this would run at the table. It's a fun departure from the usual fantasy swat team treasure hunter games. Good Halloween adventure candidate.

Seems like it'd be easy to grab and go with any of these dungeons for a night of fun. They do feel a bit disconnected from each other rather than a single work, but a clever ref could definitely make it work. Well done.

Just can't get over the skill needed with the art here.  Brilliant effort. The world in these pages feels rich with hooks for a group to keep playing for a long time. I really like the hole in the ground adventuring community spring around the entrance to a mythic underworld. I think this is a space that could easily grow as a group keeps coming back and chooses which factions to interact with. My only wish is for more pre-written areas that I don't have to roll up myself and mission content. I suspect you could fill a whole book with those and the failing here is the jam page limit of 16. You've got my mind racing with possibilities of this work. Good job!

I like how you separated the special abilities in the margins. This does seem like it'd be a fun spooky game to run for Halloween.

The timer mechanic mechanic looks fun. I like how easy it is to see what's going on in a spot at any given point. I can already see running very different for menu groups.

The feel of claustrophobia in this is real. I loved reading this and have a strong desire to run a multi day spelunking adventure!

Thanks! Alex Dzuricky from knight at the opera did the covers! Munkao did the interior art. Incredibly humbled.

The art Is is astounding on this! The 3d perspective is spot on and the perspective on the cover really gives vibes. Well done!

Happy deadline everyone!
This my first itch jam and the community of creators with their amazing projects really kept me motivated. Thanks to the brave jammers who helped me play test it too, TrueTenno and Adrift and estrandvold.

This was very fun and exhausting. I'm happy that I was able to get With the Cult of Crimson Revelers out there.

Hey thanks for making the template for this size trifold available! Can I ask where you got this adventure printed? I'm also trying to figure out specific bleeds and margins.

Epic game of don't wake daddy dnd! Looking forward to more of your adventures!

Oh, that's what itch calls the community copies for students and those experiencing financial hardship. They are no charge, no questions asked. Same content.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it 😁
