I sent this via email to support@ last week but got no response so maybe I got spam filtered :P

I changed the username of my account to be that of the game company I am trying to get started and I wanted to create a new account using my old username.

The problem is it says the username is still taken so I cant create a new account OR change the username of this account back to what it was.

Can that username be free'd up? Maybe the 1 or 2 posts on the forum messed something up or prevented something from happening?

Hey guys it would be awesome if we could set a custom domain of our choosing to CNAME to the itch.io subdomain and have it be the link we give to people.

Also it would be slick if we could customize the profile page look a big more. Kind of like gamejolt does where it have A LOT of freedom to make it look like you want. I prefer itch.io so far but those feature would make itch.io so much more useful for developers I feel. At least when building a brand on top of the game itself.

Hey guys I tried pushing some new versions of my game up last night and while the command line said they got pushed up fine a butler status would show no changes not even pending.

This made me think it was not working and I pushed a few times, deleted what was up and pushed again. Couldn't get it to work even waiting 10-20minutes. I went to bed thinking it didn't work. Then woke up this morning to find and email 10 hours saying some pushed and some failed to build...

Is this a known issue with butler? Can we fix it? :P I ended up creating a new project on game jolt in frustration of just wanting to post an update to my project. The tools should not be a hindrance...

Just being able to blog about my experiences in general  and not about a specific project would be super awesome.

Thanks for the reply! I am definitely interested in getting some more people to follow on Twitter. I am a heavy Twitter lurker :P But I hope to become more vocal with this whole experience.

itch.io seems like a great place to share my games and get some feedback but I was wondering if anyone had a reccomendation for a good platform to share the development experiences with people. I know there is tumblr, medium, wordpress and a few others but I want to be in the right place to interact with people interested in game development.

Any input greatly appreciated!
