oh, I guess I got confused because itch.io says you only need to set that up if you have a "specific reason" to... They recommend NOT doing it... But thanks!

I have filled out the tax form and all that annoying paper-work.

But there is no button to "GET MY MONEY"....  It's beyond frustrating at this point, it's like seven bucks....

What button do I need to press to have MY money transferred to ME, and where can I FIND that button?

Thank you!

You are welcome, and thank you!

You are very welcome! -And thank YOU!   Feel free to spread the word, am hungry dev ;-)

So I can't tell why I die, but I do... I can't see the guy touching any spikes when it happens... It's the part that has the doublejump instructions... Also the text in the boxt next to it is not displayed correctly.

I'm just seeing a black screen :-(

@Serpent7776 News! -An explanation for our problem has been put forward. The INSTALLER I created might well not be compatible with Linux, which I had just assumed, since the game of coarse is... So this is the path I am following in solving this. I will be looking into creating a new installer, linux compatible. ETA unknown.

Come to think of it, you aren't really having a problem with the game, you are dead-ending on the installer. So that narrows it down some.

-I have put the word out there, my forum-guys never let me down. -But I've never had issues with an installer before, so I don't know if this will be solvable immediately, or it will take days. I'll let you know.

Thanks for hanging in there.

It works on my machine, so I am sure I can find a solution.

I will notify you when I have news!

Hey man, I don't wanna waste your time, but I just wanna follow up on this.

I was fiddling around on my profile, getting to know the interface, when I saw a setting for "promo-image". This was set to the exact picture I didn't like, the first one I uploaded... So appearantly, this image is auto-set when you FIRST set your cover image, but not updated when you change your cover image. Kind of a trap I would say, as you would expect the reverse, from reading the available tool-tip.

Just an fyi. Thanks, and see you out there :-)

Sure :-)

I paste the link to my game to social media, like face-book or minds, or to friends on Skype, and my OLD cover picture appears automatically... This ALSO occurs when THEY spread my Link in similar fashions... Rather embarrassing as you might imagine.

I tried a cover image for my first game... Didn't like it....

So I changed it... Like it!

But everywhere I post a link, I get that FIRST ugly picture... It's been a couple of days.

What's up?

Pasting from the rules, I myself just read this today

This whole THING is political, not even related to games or development in any way, I think we all know that... I did not start that...  And I'm not being negative, I'm being honest, that's different... THIS WEEK a new mass grave was uncovered in AFRICA, yet people like you and the itch community are IGNORING that, to INSTEAD focus on promoting your cheap little games, leeching off the BLM movement for marketing purposes... It's dishonest, and DETRACTS from the REAL struggle.... Those who flee or are killed by the THOUSANDS in Africa, every month of the year... Don't ignore that, which you are ALL guilty of, and then pretend to care about the black community.

Lets not diminish the charity by making it about the people who give... This whole project is to help those people who DON'T have the privilege of being a white game developer. They already have EVERYTHING, and you want them to have MORE?

Hey guys, you can just go support the cause, you don't have to wait for a game-bundle.... If you support a charity INSIDE africa, your money will go a lot further. Did you know, they just found a new mass-grave in Africa THIS WEEK? Yea, imagine that NOT being on the news, while people are talking about video-game bundles, and western racism... Ouch! What an embarrassment!

You can just donate to BLM, or some other western-based charity... You don't need the approval of this website, or the user-base... Just donate your money!..

I would like to draw your attention to charities IN AFRICA, though... There, minority peoples are being killed and oppressed by the thousands, AND your money would go much further. Just THIS WEEK more mass graves were discovered, FULL of murdered people, stacked in piles and bull-dozed over... Help THEIR families, please!

If you look at the teams contributing to the pack, you will see they the VAST majority are in fact 100% white male dev teams, very little diversity... It's ALL just an ad. Most of the games advertised in the pack are OLD too, no longer selling. So it's not like they are even really sacrificing anything. They are just dumping what they had laying around. Also, none of them have donated to these causes before or since... Yes, it's ALL a publicity stunt.

Hey y'all!  Don't forget, if you REALLY care about racial justice, you are FREE to donate in ANY other way. Recently mass graves were uncovered in Africa, so if you REALLY care about making an impact, search for charities OUTSIDE the US and Europe, where the need is TRULY staggering... If 20 or so black lives lost make you feel sick, imagine the THOUSANDS killed in africa each year... SUPPORT THE CAUSE! Donate TODAY!
