Creators using the Racial Justice bundle as advertisement?

Past couple days I’ve been getting a lot of messages(goes to email) from some creators who are advertising their other games or their current games and I imagine they are getting a lot of free exposure due to the immense amount of purchases of the bundle.. is this being allowed?

If you look at the teams contributing to the pack, you will see they the VAST majority are in fact 100% white male dev teams, very little diversity... It's ALL just an ad. Most of the games advertised in the pack are OLD too, no longer selling. So it's not like they are even really sacrificing anything. They are just dumping what they had laying around. Also, none of them have donated to these causes before or since... Yes, it's ALL a publicity stunt.

I find this comment incredibly negative. For most profiles on Itch, it’s impossible to know who’s hiding behind it, let alone their gender or colour of skin.

A friend of mine who is a white male also got his game rejected from the bundle, so I don’t understand why you are trying to bring politics in a site that is donating for a cause.

I honestly can’t believe that for 5$ you can get such a massive selection of video games, and help donate, and still you complain.

This whole THING is political, not even related to games or development in any way, I think we all know that... I did not start that...  And I'm not being negative, I'm being honest, that's different... THIS WEEK a new mass grave was uncovered in AFRICA, yet people like you and the itch community are IGNORING that, to INSTEAD focus on promoting your cheap little games, leeching off the BLM movement for marketing purposes... It's dishonest, and DETRACTS from the REAL struggle.... Those who flee or are killed by the THOUSANDS in Africa, every month of the year... Don't ignore that, which you are ALL guilty of, and then pretend to care about the black community.

You're being divisive, political and practicing whataboutism. Racial justice in this context concerns the relationship between people of differing ethnicities and the state. The states formed by people of western ethnicity, where nearly all of us live. We are all personally responsible for the political realities in those states. You are trying to change the focus to attrocities on another continent. That is obviously a very different subject. I don't believe you are concerned with those events, indeed, it's normal for people who fit your profile to argue that our states should not bother to intervene - I believe you have raised them to attempt to demoralise people who are expressing their view on their relationship with their own state and the politics within it.

To be brief, the question is not 'do I care about black people', it's, 'do I find the treatment of black people in my state and by people whom I share a culture with acceptable'.

Have you spent a lot of time on Itch.io before, or did you just find out about the success of the bundle and decide to rehash these bad faith arguments with CAPITAL LETTERS, a PEPE avatar and tactics of CONFUSING closely related ideas and words, and HIDING your true opinion?
