The animation is excellent.  Great little beat-em-up you got here.

I'll admit I'm a sucker for old-school shmups despite my reflexes being horrible.  This one was fun.  I like the use of indicators showing where the enemies were to appear to help alleviate the limited resolution.  Great job.  Only improvement I can possibly see is leveling out the sound volume on the SFX vs the music and maybe making the player ship a little more nimble.

Fun little puzzler.  Liked the music.

Good core gameplay.  I'll echo that the map might be a little too big for a game jam game, especially without some sort of map to show you were you are.  With a little more polish, it could go far.

Amazing, simply amazing.  The animation, the sounds almost everything is on point.  Only thing I didn't really like was the jumping mechanics, but that's minor compared to how well the rest of the game is.  This is probably the most polished and complete game I've seen so far on this game jam.  Good job.

Yup, I'll agree with everyone else, the turtle sprite is pretty cool. Needs some animation and audio, though.

Fun little game.  Love the little skeleton farmer sprite, btw.   One thing that might make it a little better is maybe adjusting the difficulty curve slightly.  Probably a little harder at the beginning than it needs to be.

Interesting concept and has potential.  I also liked the graphics, overall and the intro music was nice. There are some issues that greatly interfered with my enjoyment, however. The walking speed was inconsistent for me, slowing down and speeding up seemingly at random and there were several places where there were invisible barriers in what looked like a valid path.  Fixing those two issues alone would go a long way to increasing the fun factor.

Nice little rougelike.  Music was good and the flooding mechanic was an interesting twist on the genre.

Heh, if your reflexes are fast enough(mine aren't) you could probably get a better score by not spamming random directions(especially as the speed increases) but I'll have to look into some ways to discourage direction spamming,  I'll have to think a bit on that one.  Thanks for the feedback, BTW.

Nah, I just suck at managing my resources, I have the same problem in a LOT of games.  Only real suggestion I have is some sort of indicator showing what other veggies you happen to have in your inventory, though I know the resolution makes that a bit hard to pull off without cluttering up the limited screen real-estate.

The animations and graphics are VERY well done.  The sounds and music also fits the theme very well.  Wasn't expecting it to be a typing game, but it works.

Good use of the plants as weapons theme.  I must not be very good at it though, kept running out of veggies to throw before the new ones could grow, lol.

Great little adventure.  My 7 year old daughter absolutely loved it, BTW.  She wants to know what happens next.

Love it!  Wouldn't have thought a turn-based snake game with RPG elements would be fun, but you've proved me wrong!

After some further testing, it wasn't your upload that was the problem, it was the user(me).  Wine wasn't setting the right working directory when I ran it from KDE's file manager(dolphin).  Ran it from a terminal window and everything worked perfectly.  Sorry for the inconvenience. Fun little maze game, BTW.  I especially liked the way you implemented the countdown timer.

Thanks.  I might do another pass on some of the graphics once the voting process is over.  Simplifying the title screen graphics should eliminate a lot of the blurriness for instance.

Pretty cool little game.  One thing I would change is giving a tell of some sort on how enemies can be attacked.  It wasn't obvious that the bounce move would kill the flowers but the regular jump would not.

Heh, those low-poly, low-rez lions are terrifying. 

Like it.  Kind of a bite-sized Starbound without the crafting and building components.

Thanks.   I don't realize how close Mars Bringer of War was to the Super Mario bros 3 airship theme until I rendered it using an NES themed soundfont 

Fun little game.  I pretty much agree with the entirety of minichibi's post.  Perhaps you could decrease the time you have to place the pieces as your score increases to ramp up the difficulty.

Nice relaxing game. Only real critique is the shop menu UI, maybe just an icon list with prices next to the icons and descriptive text in a label below that changes based on what you have selected would work better given the low resolution.
