I just wanted to ask if this process is likely to take until after the New Year, since the game is still not indexed and nothing has changed so far.

I also wanted to ask one more thing: before the de-indexing, the game had reached the popular page and was gradually climbing. If it gets indexed again, is it possible for it to return there based on its previous performance, or does the algorithm reset that completely?

Like I said, I’ve already done some marketing, and people are still viewing the page and downloading the game—but of course, the numbers have dropped since this happened.

I usually rely on external traffic and downloads from YouTube to help push the game onto Itch’s popular page. I really hope this doesn’t take too long.

Just to let you know, you can upload files larger than 1GB using Butler, I think. You don’t need to use external links—Butler is so much better because it only uploads the changes you make, so you don’t have to upload the entire file every time you update.
