thanks!

the take on the theme is because everything is made with 2d sprites even though it's a 3d game

there actually is a limit. the bullet's disappear after 5 seconds if they don't hit anything. also, the red wall of death speeds up over time, and the zombies walk speed and spawn rate also increases. so if the game is too easy in the beginning, just keep playing and it will get harder

I couldn't get the game to work, the game opened to the title screen, but the play button wasn't clickable, I tried the enter and space keys too and they didn't load the next scene either. so either there's a bug, or I'm not smart enough to get it to play

CHEESE INDEED!

that is not a bug, it's a feature, the snakes use ice dice which give a penalty to your roll by decreasing your luck. by the end of the snake round your luck is so low it's hard to roll anything higher than a 1. (we did this to add more stratagy) the two boxes beneath your energy are your draw deck and discard pile (they don't really effect game play too much) thanks so much for playing our game, glad you enjoyed it.

pretty funny idea, but also pretty pointless and boring.

the scenery in this game is beautiful, and the concept is great! I never expected to see a sorry/trouble style game in this jam. But two small changes that would be nice: the scenery and UI sometimes get in the way so it's hard to see where all the pieces are sometimes. and it would be awesome to have an AI for the enemies for those of us who don't have 3 friends to play with. I understand that was probably out of scope for a 48 hour jam though. over all, good job, Great game!

pretty fun game, could have used a little more strategy. also switching back and forth between the mouse and keyboard was a bit tedious. but I loved the story line.

the whole game doesn't fit on the screen, even in full screen mode the edges were still cut off, so I wasn't able to figure out how to play

nah, they aren't stock characters, we just had an amazing art team, thank you for playing our game, so glad you enjoyed it!

fun game, it really made me think

fun game, and interesting mechanic, very enjoyable

nice game, I like it but I think more of an explanation in the beginning would help. I was half way through the game before I realized why I was winning.

(1 edit)

thanks for letting me know, see if this one works

thank you, and yeah I didn't join the jam till friday so I didn't have a whole lot of time to think up a good way to use the theme.

cool game, even if it is a little buggy. I really like the art style, and the crafting mechanic needing nerds to complete was a nice touch.

pretty fun game, I like the death animation, but it seams to be lacking sound.

thanks for your feedback. and yeah, other people have also said it was too slow. I probably should have done more play testing to give it better pacing. I had planned to make an endless mode where it got faster and harder until you died, and you try for a highscore, but I didn't have time to put it in. I feel like that would have fixed a lot of the pacing issues. maybe I will put it in after the jam.

pretty fun game, I can clearly see the themes influence in the design, one thing I would add is a way to save the high score, maybe even a global high score so you can see who's the best.

my high score was 7482

DUDE! I love this game!!! the fact that you actually have to throw rocks at the golems to get them to throw rocks back so you can clear bigger gaps was a brilliant use of the theme!

Great job!

hmm, that's weird, I just deleted it off my computer and re downloaded it to make sure I had the same build as the uploaded one and it has the karma score. so I'm not sure why yours doesn't.

pretty fun game! though I can't see how it fits the theme. I really liked the exploding barrels! and it really does remind me of the golden eye 64 game. good job!

the music was free on the unity asset store.

there's no karma score? it should be right under the score! and no, there is no sound effect or score loss for karma, all the karma does is change the cosmetics of the game (if you get - 10 karma you turn into a devil and +10 karma turns you into an angel)

the speed is determined by your total score (you go 5% faster every time you pick up a coin regardless of color)

no, there is no end.

it is procedurally generated, I made 4 chunk variations and each time you get to a new chunk it randomly picks the next chunk.

thank you for playing, I'm glad you liked it!

thanks! did you ever get to +10 or -10 karma?

no, it was free on the unty asset store. I've tried making my own music and sound effects before, but they always got poor reviews.

thanks!

fun game!

fun game, and interesting use of the theme.

the art is really good, and it fits the theme really well. but the controls are a bit unintuitive with having to move my hand back and forth from the mouse to the keyboard.

thank you for your interest in my game! I'm glad you liked my art. music and story will be coming soon in the full release. yes I've noticed that glitch too but haven't found a good way around it yet... but I will!

thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. after playing through it a few times I can kinda see what you mean, but I like the UI the way it is. I did move the camera down a bit so you can see underneath you more and also made it more responsive. thanks for your input :)

pretty fun and I like the retro pixel art. but the scope was kind of hard to control at times

this is pretty fun, it reminds me of a game my brother and I played together as kids. I think it was called rampart.

it is pretty random though and when you lose it's hard to tell if it's cause of a lack of skill or just cause you got screwed by the random generation.

nice game, a few of the puzzles had me stumped for a while, but I figured them out eventually.

I like this one, Interesting take on the theme.

it was a little hard to understand at first but once I got the hang of it it was pretty fun

it's a good concept, it would have been cool if you could split down into more than 2 pieces, or join 2 bigger ones together to get a 2nd ability.

haha the score keeps going up after you die, I can get the world record highscore just by leaving the game over screen open XD
