Cool Little game !! :D loved the art and gameplay , easy to understand and play , Good stuff overall :D
Though I have seen many, but still polish design!
When successfully trigger the bridge, I think there should be a sfx, because there are often several bridge out of the screen and I dont know if I have triggered that.
yeah, the last version didn't make it up in time, but it included the indicators disappearing like they do in the 3rd level everywhere, thanks for the feedback though
I've seen quite a number of similar games but I think this one is quite polished.
Not sure about suddenly appearing platforms, but I liked your turnstile-like flipping gates. However, an indicator of which side you should align for them to work would be nice.
That aside, nice visuals and polish, good job!
yeah, the turnstile thing has been a common issue from people i see. i figure i could probably communicate that better. thank you very much for the praise, i expected much worse for my first game.
I've played a lot of these types of games this jam, so I'm a little tired of them at this point (and really unsure as to how you're supposed to play them without blindly guessing), but this one was really well made and felt polished. I think the camera was a little too close to the character - moving it back a bit would make the game feel less claustrophobic.
Nice work overall :)
there are actually a couple of tricks i discovered from repeatedly testing this project to help you align better, but i certainly felt similarly in the begining, perhaps if i built a more tutorialistic opening to express these concepts?
I feel like with this type of mechanic I'm just blinding guessing. But I still liked the overall presentation and thought the camera angle controls were a nice touch! Played at https://twitch.tv/hedgein <3
Really neat game, I love the clever mechanics that work with the shape of the die. Very neat, although I did not understand the mechanics of the last level. In general, I think more visual feedback on what's happening when you interact with different tiles/objects would help out so much and make the game that much more enjoyable. Great effort!
Neat little puzzle game! No idea what i was doing or how i solved the last puzzle though
Really made me think! The levels were fun and I felt smart when I solved them. Great work!
Gameplay and puzzles are really solid. A lot of potential for level design. Great game overall :)
I like the aesthetic, and the challenge was a good match for me. I appreciate that there were multiple mechanics introduced in a 48h jam game. My one critique was mentioned in another comment, I think there should be some kind of feedback when you activate the number pads - some kind of sound, or the pad changing color or something. But otherwise, I think this is a solid piece.
the pads were actually supposed to disappear when triggered like they do in the 3rd level. i fixed this, but i didn't get my latest version up in time. thankfully, i uploaded a early version
Pretty challenging for a game jam, usually here people try to brute force puzzle solutions since every game is 5min max and they get the short end of the stick for reviews. Still the game was fun at the start and great job getting this mechanic working in 48h
Definitely a relatively challenging puzzle game. There were some interesting mechanics throughout. Mainly the flipping platform which to be honest, had me very confused for a bit. Until I realized/was helped to find out that I just had to line up the side of it and then push through the platform to be able to get across the gap. It was still a little weird past that but it did add a lot to the puzzle to have one way platforms to work around. Especially when they were locked up with different sides.
Though I( wills ay the last level felt a little out there compared to the rest since there was no introduction of the mechanic beforehand in a simpler format. It was interesting if a little difficult, I'll probably be heading back to see what I can do at some point
Really well done, nice clean aesthetic choices, really enjoyed it! That last puzzle was too much for my smooth brain though 😅
Really cool puzzle game, love the aesthetic. Great Job!
Cool concept and execution, really creative!
Nice concept, gives me stephen's sausage roll vibes. Some feedback on hitting the switch with the right face would be lovely. Also I accidently got softlocked in the 2nd level. Made my brain think hard!
Great game! I love games where you have to use the geometry of dice. Really good use of the theme
Very nice idea, fit the theme great!)
Sticks to the theme well!
fun game, it really made me think
