Unfortunate, but understandable.

This was a silly and fun little game. I wish there was a smidge more help with the evidence and what the suspects say but I solved it eventually so that's that. Aside from that, I don't think I have any complaints. Nice job!

Great game! The graphics were simple but effective. And the puzzles were fun and challenging, but never to an unfair degree, so props for that!

This game is pretty fun and has some impressive visuals. Though the yeeter was pretty weak and I didn't find myself using it very much, so that could've been strengthened. Oh also, a minor thing, when the game starts your mouse isn't locked and you have to click for it to lock, so you should try to fix that.

Cool for a first game, man. I don't have much new feedback to offer besides what's already been said: nice twist with it actually being a 3D game though I wish you'd done more with it, the jumping was inconsistent and a little frustrating, but the narrative you were telling was quite intriguing! Keep it up and you'll only get better from here!

I am curious about something though: Why did you only use 2 of the 48 hours allotted?

Great looking game with beautiful fitting music! As others have said, props to your team. However, I wish the tutorial had done a better job at explaining what you are supposed to do, as well as some sort of visual indication of which puzzle you are currently able to use. I also wish the transition between the two characters was a bit faster. There was a bit of a problem where the player would be unable to move for a second or so after switching. But all that said, this game, for what it is, is really impressive for something done in 48 hours!

This was a pretty fun game! Took me a little while to figure out how to best get the momentum of the ball going, but once I did it was smooth sailing. So I guess maybe I wish there were some tips on how to get the momentum going? Cause I found it a little frustrating until I figured it out. But yeah, apart from that little nitpick, this was a great game with a neat interpretation of the theme!

Yeah, I'm sorry, I ran out of time to fix that soft lock bug. :/

And I thought it would be immediately obvious which tool picks up the boxes, but you're right I shouldn't have assumed and instead shown the player the right tool.

Good concept for a game. I liked the graphics and overall look. The puzzles were nice and interesting. I found level 2 really showed off the potential of a game like this and it was my overall favorite level! The only thing to complain about I found is that the ball would sometimes not levitate up to the player if they were standing on a higher level, which made some sections a lil frustrating.

Interesting game. Good take on the theme. I like the visuals as well as the quirky voice lines and action-y music which really pump you up for the gameplay.  Found it to be really difficult but maybe I just need to git gud.

Really clever take on the theme by having the player use the game page's forum. I also liked the simple "cel-shaded" look the game has. There were a few glitches with the walls here and there but nothing major. Also, I tried for a long time but I couldn't figure out the Tower-like structure area :(

Simple little game that is actually more fun than it looks at face value. I would also like to let you know I beat Hinz highscore with a score of 185 XD

But that aside, I'm sad to say I don't really see a connection to the theme in this one. :/

I like the concept you were going for, I like the idea of those enemies having shields that deflect your shuriken. I also like the atmosphere you created with the intro and ending. However, I feel like the controls weren't really very responsive. It was difficult to move around, too difficult, and it often left me feeling like I was doing something wrong.

It's unfortunate that there are no game files to play because, from that playthrough video, the game looked really promising! With clever puzzles and a great take on the theme!

Sorry you couldn't turn in a working version on time, man. It must be frustrating. :/

Impressive visuals on this game! The music and sound effects were pretty good as well. The gameplay is fun and not overly difficult. I would have liked a visual of the rope snapping or something when the urchins cut your rope because for the longest time I had no idea that that was why I was "randomly" dying. The penguins also have a chance of spawning where your fish is, killing you instantly unfairly.

Very difficult and unforgiving, too much so though. Like the other comment said, some checkpoints here and there would've helped rather than having to start from the beginning every time you fail. I think a sound for the jump charging would've helped, as well as a slight amount of maneuverability while in the air to give some room for error. And like you said, I don't really see a connection to the theme. You could make this game work with some refining though!

This is a fun concept for a game! Visuals are simple but they work and get the message across. However, as it stands, I think the game is too easy, and you can cheese it by standing on opposite ends of the room. What I think could have helped is more strategic placing of obstacles in the level.

Fun game! Controls are good and responsive, the sounds really help to add impact to your actions, the visuals were pretty great and fitting to the gameplay. My only complaint would for the second battle. I think you should have made the spikes and other stuff that can hurt you contrast more and be more distinct, because as it stands I found they blended in too much with the background and were hard to keep track of. Also, as the other comment said, I don't see a connection to the theme in the gameplay, unfortunately. The game is still a cool concept though!

Really fun and quirky game! I love the playful visual. My ambidexterity is really lacking though and my experience with bullethells is nil, so I personally found this game rather challenging. It becomes really difficult to keep track of which snake you're controlling and which controls control what snake, especially in the midst of combat. If that could be mitigated somehow or the game made a little more beginner-friendly with a less steep difficulty curve,  I think that could help. Otherwise, like I said, great game!

Really interesting concept you have going. The 3D visuals are pretty great. The 2D visuals are a little clunky though. With some polish to the GUI and refined game balancing, I believe you could make this into a pretty fun game!

(1 edit)

Thanks!  It's unfortunate about the sound but sorta ran out of time near the end.
