Update: fixed the issue on my end! It turns out it was because of some Steam settings that let my controller move the mouse and press keys

Hopefully this will fix it for you:

open steam -> steam settings -> controller -> scroll to the bottom where it says "desktop layout" -> click "edit" -> click "disable steam input"

I'm getting a similar issue, which is strange because I played through the whole game yesterday and nothing like this was happening. Super weird! Restarting my pc and closing all other programs didn't do anything

first run of each tower was a little under 12 minutes for the first tower and a little over 12 for the second. a lifetime of jilling off is finally bearing fruit

really cute!

really creative! a lot could be done here if you gave it more time

really cute! I love the animation on the janitor, and it's funny how quickly you can just roll into the end of the game

48 hours? 3 people?? amazing

absolutely amazing! adorable art, adorable music, such playful animation!! I love the way the little bubbles of water and sun float around the plants, I love the way the plants dance a little, I love the little screenshake when placing a box or a plant. so much love in this one, so many teeny little joys! I appreciate how simple a game it is--not too complex so as to be overwhelming

I also appreciated the small danger of accidentally overfeeding a plant. I felt like it encouraged a kind of careful, tender play, treating each plant gently so as not to hurt it. I felt really bad when I accidentally killed some and made sure to try my best never to do that again! I think the lack of clarity around that mechanic was to the game's benefit. if it were too clear it might rob the player of the experience of getting to learn it themself and feel closer to their plants, like a real gardener!

what a strange idea, I love it. satisfying kinetic feel on the dice with those sfx, and I loved the lo-res style. really charming!

super solid game! I survived 11 waves. I really loved how the roll happens before you use the dice, letting you plan a strategy around what you get--or spend some time in exchange to roll for a better loadout. I enjoyed the little synergies possible, like freezing enemies to let them clump up a little and then trying to land a bomb among them all. I'd love to see that kind of thing expanded on, giving more reason to mix up your loadout and experiment with different strategies.

Also, a small suggestion if you decide to keep developing this game: I'd love to be able to reroll with a right click or middle click. I enjoyed playing with just one hand, but had to either use my other hand to hit space or move the mouse really far when I wanted to reroll (It would also help a lot if running out of dice would automatically trigger a reroll, but I assume that's been said already?)

overall a lovely game!!

ok, rad! can't wait :>

super creative! i really like the little mushroom dude

this game seems really neat! would love to try a version without the transition screen bug others are mentioning. shame that happened but I like what you have here all the same. I hope it's not discouraging cause you have potential!

was surprised at how much time I ended up spending with this one! it's super cute and compelling. reminds me of old computer games. also it's nice to see another squigglevision enjoyer. it's so much extra work but it's almost worth it

really cute and unique!! i really love the character designs

so this game seems really really cool but it doesn't seem to be working for me. i move super slow and no skeletons or trash cans or anything appear at all. if it was a problem in the upload or something I'd love to see the proper game, it sounds super neat

really cute and creative!

this project is full of really strong ideas and it made me laugh. would love to this one get more development time!

that was a lot of fun! really struggled on Lauren. she's a tough opponent! overall super solid, nice work!

extremely adorable art!

extremely, extremely creative. I hadn't even thought of doing something with the actual positioning of the pips on a die--and it's a great puzzle game too! had me stumped until I thought outside the box like a good puzzle game will. absolutely adorable, both me and my girlfriend were so charmed by this.  probably the highest rating I've given yet

very cute! i don't have a great intuitive sense of how to mix colors but i started to get a sense for it as I played. one of my favorites so far!

really cute game! i loved the music

absolutely incredible. favorite game I've played yet this jam. i'll fall hook line and sinker instantly for weird hand-drawn art, and I loved the enemy designs, especially the 4-pip dice. I also loved having to gamble for stats while under pressure.

my girlfriend also found it really interesting that the attack stat increases the size of your attack rather than its power. I also think it was a really good move to make any damage reduce all your stats, meaning you won't get to roll high right away and never worry about that stat again. all-around amazing.

if I had one suggestion I'd say to try keeping the player under more constant pressure so they have to gamble under pressure more often. I found I could keep some 4-pips around while I gambled since it's easy to find a safe spot where they'll never hit you, and it definitely slowed the pace a bit

really cute! loved the idea of having to adapt on the fly to what the die rolls

really neat concept! I'm no good at keeping the beat but I like what you've done

really interesting take on match-3-esque games, and I loved the visuals. lovely animation on the dice squashing

very good attempt at a first game. obviously your first but my first wasn't as good as this! keep it up!

Very novel! I loved the idea of having to choose from different dice with different spreads of outcomes on them

there's no download on this page so I can't play it or review it

creative concept! I liked the wrinkle of your number of moves having to be a multiple of the side you end on. a bit confusing and easy to brute force though. my girlfriend suggests adding some clearer indication of what side you will roll to when you move

i really appreciate that you did something with the actual physics of rolling a die, and made it actually possible to try and control the outcome. The concept is really strong!

incredibly strange and well-presented. I was pretty confused the whole time and never figured out why I could dodge or blink but I think that just added to the tension. Nice work!

gotta say this is a very authentic recreation of the experience of weirdos trying to eat my fruit

This is cute!! I managed to play a perfect game :> I love the little animation on the level bar when you finish

aaaaa, thank you!!!!
